The overall feeling of staying in this hotel is not bad. The breakfast variety is very rich. The only thing lacking is that because the restaurant waiter is not very active, the customer needs to ask him for tea before serving.

We recently stayed at this hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary and were so disappointed. This hotel is constantly swamped with hundreds of tour groups and business conferences. The day of our arrival 500 people checked in . On other days more groups checked in. It was constant the whole 5 days we were there. This took 3hrs to check in and of course our room wasn't ready. You can't use the restaurant, bar or any other area as it's swamped with these groups . If you manage to get a drink you are soon pushed out . The lift takes at least 15mins or more each time as there are so many people using them and they are packed. The hallways are noisy until all hours with these groups partying. The room next to us went all night for many nights. When the staff could see how upset we were they said sorry but we have to look after these groups. We felt so unwelcome and unimportant as a guest. Just in the way. We paid alot to stay here and couldn't utilise any of the facilities we wanted. Even on check out we couldn't get our driver outside as it was full of buses and people carriers. Don't waste your money and ruin your holiday. Stay somewhere where you will get 5 star trea**ent and what you paid for. This hotel obviously caters for groups only but of course it's not anywhere on website or reviews when researched.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Only complaint was that we were gone from 8 am to 1 pm and our room was never serviced even though I had put on the make up room light. I called and asked for towels since the ones we had were still damp. The man who brought them questioned me about why the room was not made up. He seemed not to believe me when I told him I had left the light on. After dinner we returned to our room and found it made up but no slippers or candy that night!😏

My travel agent selected this hotel, so I was caught off-guard by the grandeur. Fresh flowers adorn the the lobby. Everything appears polished, clean, and brand new. The bathroom was so beautiful, I wanted to add it to my carry-on luggage. The bed was so comfortable, it made me break my routine and sleep in. I had a view from the 18th floor. At night, the attendants added water and chocolates to my nightstand. To be frank, the Hilton and the Marriott brands pale in comparison to Corinthia.

Viking booked us here for our upcoming pre river cruise. We enjoyed our three day stay at the Corinthia hotel very much. It was a good location with good restaurants both in and out of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was superb. We would absolutely stay here again.
