The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When I arrived at 9:00 in the morning, I wanted to put down my luggage, but the front desk said that it was already possible to check in. The location is extremely superior. The city center is surrounded by major shopping malls. It takes 1 minute to walk to the subway station and Rossio train station, which can go directly to Sintra.

Really nothing to complain about!
Hotel is old but feel like a king both fresh fruit in room when arriving and good bed. Can make coffee in room as well. Good staff.
Breakfast is really good variety.

Beautiful and well maintained historic location. Fabulous breakfast and wonderful walkable location. Hotel is attached to the train station - train noise in our room was difficult to sleep through. Perhaps other rooms are quieter. We were in room 502. Concierge very self serving - recommended private cars and taxis for everything when there are many other options within 1/2 block of the hotel including train to Sintra and Cascais, hop on hop off bus, metro and funicular to Barrio Alto.

This hotel is a beautiful well maintained hotel, located in the heart of Lisbon. The furnishing are exquisite, with high furniture and equipment yet comfortable. Staying at the Avenida Palace is truly a pleasure. The bed was outstanding and service was excellent

The hotel is beautiful on the inside. The service was terrific. We enjoyed the nightly piano performance in the lobby. Breakfast was included and and the selection was broad and tasty. The food in the lounge is limited but very good.. 5e location of the hotel is excellent.

Good location that is centrally located but very busy with traffic and people. Gathering points in the hotel (breakfast area, lounge/bar) are stunning and gives an opulent feel. Staff is very friendly but not too “in your face”. The hotel does rumble with trains underground and bathroom is somewhat dated, but adds to the charm.
