Palacio Das Especiarias

The location is very good, a few kilometers walk from Liberty Avenue, there is a lot of food downstairs in the evening, breakfast can be. The room where you stayed did not have a lift on the fourth floor. The front desk helped move to the fourth floor. Everything was very good. The hotel with its own characteristics was scary on the fourth floor. It was hard to lock the door. Later, the front desk came to demonstrate it again. There is a place to introduce breakfast after check-in, and there are snacks and juices for free. Small defects Hotel facilities in general, my family suite is only a lamp is very dark, the wardrobe can not be locked, sleep at night is a little scared, the toilet is a little small.

Hotel Acores Lisbon is definitey one to keep in mind. I have stayed here with some friends for a long weekend in April. The hotel is absolutely a great place to stay during your Lisbon visit. The rooms a nice, spacious and clean. Beds are soft and sheets were clean. Breakfast in the hotel is good, there is enough choice in the restaurant. The reception staff is very friendly and they try to help you with all you questions. The airport is close to the hotel and there are airplanes flying over during the day, but to be honest, it's not annoying. Whenever I go back to Lisbon I will keep this hotel in mind to stay in again.
Altis Suites Apartamentos Turísticos

The Altis Suites apar**ents are a great option for a family city break in Lisbon. We travelled with 2 teenage boys for a long weekend in Oct, and this apar**ent provided everything we needed. The welcome from the staff was wonderful and they couldn't do enough to help us. The apar**ents benefit from the use of the facilities at the Altis Grand Hotel next door, which is very handy (particularly if you have time to kill before a flight home for instance). One of the reasons we booked Altis through Love Holidays was the use of the spa facilities in the hotel - this caused some consternation at the hotel as apar**ent users are technically required to pay an additional charge. But this was not what was advertised on the Love Holidays site, so given we booked in good faith that we could use the spa and pool FOC the Altis staff allowed us to do so - thank you for your understanding. Altis Suites are in a good location - an upmarket neighbourhood, 20min walk into the city centre, 5min walk to the nearest Metro station (we found the metro/tram/bus system very easy to use and good value). The apar**ents are very spacious with a big bedroom, living room (with sofa bed) and bathroom. Beds are comfy. Rooms spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the apar**ents are quite dated, with some items on their last legs - the reason I can't award 4 stars. Our fridge didn't work - this was promptly replaced by the staff, but with a bigger model that didn't fit into the recess. The shower head over the bath was old and twisted round so that it wouldn't direct straight. There was also a persistent drain smell in the bathroom. None of these were major issues and didn't impinge on our enjoyment, but prevent an ”excellent” rating. Overall, a great stay in Lisbon and I would recommend Altis Suites apar**ents for a family break.

We were a bit skeptical when we booked the place, but when we arrived was just perfect. Location crazy convinient, easy check in and check out. Just one issue we had was the hotel contact phone, on booking was a wrong number, and only after we checked Google maps we were able to contact the host. All except that small issue was great, and exactly like pics

We arrived early at the hotel for our 2 day stay after disembarking a cruise and were offered breakfast, we declined, having had breakfast on the ship but we had a coffee at the tables outside of the restaurant area. It was really nice with tablecloths and fresh flowers. We were just planning our day when our room became ready early and were shown to it with our cases already there. Ok the room was a little small but it is well thought out and had everything we needed including a coffee machine and mini bar, complimentary water and even some pastel de natas ….. yum ! The bathroom was comparatively big with a double shower and sinks and big fluffy towels. ( My only complaint would be was that there were no hooks to hang them ) The bed was lovely & comfortable and we had a cute Juliet balcony looking out onto the main st Breakfast was serve yourself with hot food, and fruits, yoghurts and pastries …..even sparkling wine as well as coffee and teas All the staff were so friendly, professional and happy to help, we’d certainly return. Highly recommended 10/10 !

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, unique hotel. It was a bit tricky to find the first time, but if you follow the signs beside Taylor's and trust going thru the alley and up the stairs, you won't be disappointed once you ring the bell and are greeted. The winding staircase up to the suites could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise it's definitely worth the walk. The 'Paula' room on the top floor was very spacious and comfortable, with amenities we weren't expecting, like a bar, stove top and fridge. The room has a nice view overlooking the river (sometimes with cruise ships) and while there is a/c it was lovely to have the windows open and appreciate the breeze from the water. We also really loved the breakfast - super fresh, daily made juices, pastries, meat and cheese - a perfect way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
