This is a very nice hotel, modern rooms and had some nice touches to it. Our room was very big and nice nothing wrong with it whatsoever. The service in the bar restaurant and reception wasn’t the best. Took ages to get a drink once this was ordered. The restaurant is nice but the food is poor. You are definitely better going out to a nice restaurant in town. I asked the reception if they would do something for my wife in the room as it was a special day and occasion! They left a box of chocolates for her but didn’t even sign it. And when I questioned this they said they don’t do this ? They are missing a trick here, keep your customers happy and they will come back. For example crown plaza do this and made it very special day we weren’t even expecting it too, I did mention that it was my wife’s birthday they went above and beyond unlike the Titanic Hotel who did nothing and sent emails saying we don’t do this. The thermal Spa you have to pay £20 per person for 2 hours! This was nice but expensive as it’s in the same building. The location is out of the way not ideal unless your waiting to watch football at the new Everton stadium when it’s finished being built.

Thank you for a lovely stay to celebrate my Aunties 70th Birthday - the room upgrade and cakes were much appreciated she felt very spoilt. The team at this hotel are all so friendly and welcoming making sure you have everything you need the rooms are huge and very stylish but extremely comfortable (superior dockside) complimentary water, tea coffee etc are great along with the bath robes and branded slippers (housekeeping were fantastic) checking out at 11am works perfectly. We had breakfast and dinner included in the price we paid which was great value the food was superb with great service from all of the restaurant staff we met along with the bar staff in the lobby bar a great place to sit and relax overlooking the water. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre but this isn't an issue as taxis are always available (press the button at the concierge desk - great idea) Would highly recommend this hotel and a visit to the lovely city of Liverpool!

Not a traveller friendly hotel. Tried to order food to room after midnight and was offered old sandwiches from previous day. Not even chips. Rooms are quirky and OK but full payment on arrival and no auto credit suggests there are better local hotels available. If you want to simply pitch up sleep and eat outside then OK but if not then avoid this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in booked this for my husbands 40th birthday as it’s somewhere he has always wanted to stay. when we arrived to check in to our surprise they had upgraded us to the presidential suite. wow i cant say enough good things about this suite it was amazing, large bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, extra en suite toilet, large separate living area with seating, kitchen area, bar, dining table, fridge, coffee machine, ice machine etc.. just outstanding. i could have spent 2 full days in here. it was such a lovely surprise. the bed was so comfy had such a fab nights sleep.. we had breakfast delivered to our room which was a lovely treat. bar area was amazing with lovely cocktails, loved the decor in the hotel. we will definitely be back, would love to try the spa next time! x

I can appreciate what they’ve done to an old building. What I didn’t like, was the poor lighting in the bedroom and the mould around the shower. The food I didn’t think was appropriate for a four star hotel, the breakfast was cold, the sandwiches we had where dry around the edges.
