"Excellent location within a 5 minute walk to the city centre and all the shops, bars, and restaurants. Bedrooms very comfortable with openable windows which was a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful although I was disappointed to find streaky not back bacon was on offer. There is a Tesco Express about a 2 minute walk for essentials and snacks etc. Not forgetting the historic Baltic Fleet pub within 3-4 minutes walk, an absolute must see and experience."

"Lovely big rooms, however can get cold due to this. However could have been a fault of our own as we didn’t alter the thermostat. Bathroom was nice but if you have the option don’t choose a bath in the room and the shower is not the best. I have stayed here previously in a shower room and they are superior. We missed out on the spa if you want to go you now have to pre book which we weren’t informed about potentially Trip.com’s fault and not the hotel."
