Reasonable stay after a night out round the town with friends. Great location as close to city centre and Lime Street Station. Room was small with two single beds but if just looking for somewhere to lay your head it does the job. Had a TV, kettle and shower/bathroom was fine with clean towels and shower gel provided. Staff were fine and check in easy. It does say no under 21s which we didn't see when booking so one to bear in mind for others as didn't affect us. No window in room but again not a problem for us. Would stay here with mates after a night out, probably wouldn't go with my wife though. £40 for one night it did the job.

Rude staff on arrival. Stood in doorway smoking. Didn’t say hello, just “you can’t check in until 3pm”. Offered for us to leave our bag and come back. Would have been left in a cupboard marked “leave at your own risk”. Hotel has signs on the windows “we don’t book taxis” and “no under 21’s”. Shows you the level of service they offer! Given two different rooms. One with two double beds classed as an “upgrade” No it wasn’t! Marks in bath and sunken over worn mattresses with two double beds. Second room also had overused mattress that you rolled into the middle on plus dirty bedding. Mould round the bath and sellotaped wallpaper. Grabbed our stuff and left. Stayed at an alternative hotel for cheaper. This is an overpriced B&B with little care shown for guests. Would not recommend at all.

Leaving a 5* review just for the customer service provided by Martin (night manager). Upgraded our room when we requested and did some juggling around to get us a better room. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he's a credit to this business. Didn't actually stay overnight or use the room. My partner and I had tickets to the theatre. Just before the show started a family emergency came up meaning we had to leave. Rushed back to the hotel to get our belongings together before heading home. As I say this review is based on the customer service - 2nd to none

I think it’s disgusting how the women made me feel and my two mates like we wasn’t wanted there, we was no trouble at all soon as we walked through the door she was rude to us for no reason at all the way she spoke to us was disgusting and the man also! I will not be staying there again vile people if you ask me how they made us feel and spoke to us was honestly disgusting I do not recommend what so ever looks like it’s just the young lot they have it in as I’ve read other reviews. Spent 220 for 2 nights just to walked out and got a new cheap hotel with lovely people who actually made us feel welcome.

Disgusting room, empty bags of ***** found in draws, one of them had remains still in, bed sheets not been changed as there was stains, finger nails and hair in it, the mattress was so worn as I could feel all the springs and floor was the full of dust and nails, if I could rate a 0 I would

Came to the Printworks for a weekened away with my mam and sister. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself. It is clean, spacious and very pretty rooms. The staff have been nothing but friendly! Would recommend this hotel to anyone! Deffo be returning!

The hotel isn’t bad for a night stay and not bad. value. However the man. on reception was very rude . He wasn’t very welcoming to a group of lads (we are no trouble). Also when I arrived back at the hotel at 3.00 I didn’t read sign on the door which says don’t pull the door. ring the bell. I dyslexic so cannot read but .entering he was very rude and stated read the sign quite very angrily . As a hotel maybe consider certain things like dyslexia before making rude angry comments to visitors. I also reported the toilet. blocked and reception didn’t seem bothered . Not going back
