What a hotel, lovely old world charm of the period of the building. Friendly Manager who went out of his way to make us feel very welcome. Ordered out taxi to the football, ensured we had numbers to come back with, really made to feel very special guests. Lovely continental breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. All staff lovely. Beds were comfortable only criticism was there was only one pillow each, but this did not detract from the stay.

Nicely situated hotel nice staff clean room nice showers ..very good continental breakfast and great access to Liverpool Bus stop outside straight to Liverpool 1..... 15 mins and free parking behind hotel.. Parking in Liverpool is not good so great bonus.

room was not up to scratch, needs up dating! wall paper pealing off walls, damp, bed needs replacing base gone. radiator in bathroom paint pealing rust underneath. Bedding clean as was toilet and shower. would not return

There were a lot of stairs even though there was a lift. The room was basic. Nom hairdryer in room ,but we could have got one from the reception.
Very icy outside and driveway hadn’t been treated so my husband ,who walks with a stick ,was very nervous.

Ótimo hotel, voltaria sem sombra de dúvidas!
Roupa de cama branca, nova e limpa.
O café da manhã poderia ser um pouco mais caprichado e com toalhas nas mesas, que são de granito escuro, mas embora simples é de qualidade tudo o que serviu.
O menor do hotel é a localização fantástica!!! Tem o tô de ônibus bem na frente do hotel onde se pode ir para a cidade toda com facilidade. O hotel também fica perto da Penny Lane e da strawberry Street, as ruas onde ficam as casas dos Beatles e ainda do ladinho do Sefton Park, lugar lindíssimo para caminhar e chegar até a Lark Lane, rua onde tem vários restaurantes.

Hotel was clearly extremely old fashioned and outdated. Upon the first night of my arrival I'd asked for two extra pillows for my room because the two I was provided were as lumpy as the michillian man where the staff member who gave me the pillows handed them to me as if I was a leper! As if that wasn't enough the room was damaged and dirty, paint peeling off the walls, and shower that was damaged to the point it shattered in the middle of the night due to the extreme heat in the bathrooms, a shower door which me and my partner were forced to pay £270 to replace it despite paying a security insurance fee! Thought we had paid to stay in Hotel Transylvania for the weekend but honestly, that would've been more pleasant. If you value your money and don't want to pay damage fees for property that is already falling apart, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Disliked that there was no subtle lighting for evening eg bedside lamps, only main bright room lighting.
Also pillows were very flat and only 1 per person with no spares.
Bathroom was modern and very clean.
Lovely staff .
