62 Castle Street Hotel

Room was just OK, although cold as the Hotel heating was turned off, so had to complain. Also, they debited us £100.00 as a "security bond" and upon check in promised to refund the sum as we checked out. They failed to do that. Apparently the refund process takes "a few dsys". Rather disingenuous wouldn't you say. We won't stay there again.

Property is stunning. We had room 302 which was beautiful and huge! Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again

The room itself was lovely and the staff were friendly. There was a mini bar in the room that was reasonably priced although the fridge was noisy. It was really hard to sleep as the room was hot and outside was really noisy due to its busy location.

Stayed at 62 Castle Street for one night, previously stayed a number of years ago and remember leaving thinking how wonderful the hotel rooms were. I have to say, found the hotel rooms a bit on the grotty side. We paid £200 for one night, likely inflated due to the last game of the football season, and it definitely wasn't worth £200 per night. Chipped furniture, stains underneath the glass on the table, marked carpets.. the room we stayed in required some TLC. The sleep quality in this hotel is poor due to the location. Castle street is busy with bars and restaurants and from around 5am there were trucks unloading bins of glass bottles & reversing down the road and it was still happening upon check out. The receptionist was very helpful and the cocktail bar looked lovely though we didn't have a drink in there. Nice touches such as bottles of water and chocolates in the room. Wouldn't personally stay again due to the noise and not worth the price tag.

Amazing hotel with fabulous staff Checked in by the lovely Levi Junior suite ! Wow ! Absolutely perfect After leaving we booked again straight away for a night in June Levi has also been really helpful tonight helping us add an extra night to our booking in June Can’t wait to stay again and Levi is a credit to the hotel.

Stunning lobby, great service upon checking in, able to store luggage, free Prosecco for the races, rooms really spacious and beautifully decorated. We had breakfast delivered to the suite in the morning but it could be taken in the bar area. Really tasty and a good selection delivered on the dot for no extra charge. Location was spot on for us as right on Castle Street where lots of bars and restaurants are. Maybe one thing to consider is that you could hear music until quite late (maybe 12.30?) but it didn’t bother us at all.
