We were looking for somewhere to stay in Liverpool as it was our three year anniversary and we come to stay in Liverpool quite a lot , we usually stay in a hotel but saw the pictures for Stanley street studios , they looked really nice on the website . It also said that we would get 25% off our parking in Q Park Dale street. All we were given was a code to pre book a ticket, so after walking back to the apar**ent to ask for help, we got absolutely none, and ended up having to pay full price for the parking despite being told we would get the 25% off.So we parked there . We got given the code for our room was immediately put off by the dirty lift, that couldn’t even take us to our floor , and stained carpets . The room looked absolutely nothing at all like any of the photos. There were many different photos on ******* and *********** but nothing looking anything like the room we had. It was small, dark and had a cramped bathroom. There was no extra pillows or bedding supplied so each person had 1 pillow. We got into the room we were greeted with toilet smell . The room looked like as if it wasn’t cleaned properly . The floors were dirty . The small window was six and a half feet above the ground which we couldn’t even see out of . While trying to make food after arriving there was only one set of cutlery despite it being a two person room . The shower head was clearly changed and didn’t fit the holder ,so couldn’t have a proper shower as you had to hold it with one hand . There was blood wiped in one of the toilet rolls . The studios were in a good position to get into the town as most pubs and the city centre were only a 5-10 minute walk away. The actual street we were on seemed to have a few rough people scattered around during the day and night and on one of the nights as we left to go to the town, there were things being thrown from balcony’s onto the cars below. There were constantly small children running around the lobby area which sometimes made it difficult to get through to the lift. As we checked out we were only asked what room number we were and sent on our way. There was no customer service or questions about the stay from any of the two staff we interacted with.
