Great location,clean comfortable and good value for money.Staff we’re very friendly helpful.Good breakfast,and free parking was a bonus.Would use again.

Great budget hotel and location is excellent. Free parking in Liverpool is a bonus. Noisy if on roadside but no fans in the room so windows have to be open. Stayed a couple if times now no complaints as such.

Hotel is without lift. Have to lift up luggages up to level 3 ownself. Hotel do not provide free concierge. A luggae was charged at £3each to put at concierge.

Great location a very basic room but everything for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was a bit poor other than that it ticked all of our boxes. All of the staff were amazing and the bar is a pleasant place to sit.

I really regret booking this hotel last year for a concert at the M&S Bank Arena and can't believe how ridiculously expensive it was for such a dive. We booked a "Superior" room with riverside view, but it was very small and everything was in a terrible condition. I am not sure when this hotel was built, but the rooms look like they haven't been decorated in 30-40 years. The bathroom was very small and dark, not helped by the very dated dirty looking floor and wall tiles. The bedroom had woodchip wallpaper and all the paintwork was off-colour and dirty looking. The room furniture was like something from the 70's, very basic with lots of wearmarks. The bed base was very stained and the bedding also had stain marks which is very offputting. The rooms are very hot as there is no aircon, although reception did provide a fan to help cool the room down. Our particular room had a problem with the window hinge and had to be lifted to open it. The breakfast was very poor, there is a reasonable choice of cereals, pastries and fruit juice but the full english was terrible with poor quality ingredients lacking any real taste. Staff were generally ok, but one or two could do with a bit of customer service training and try smiling. The only redeeming points which just about warrant a 1 star review are that there was an additional interior door in the room which helps to cut out night time distractions such as light and noise from the corridor and also apart from the cleanliness of the bed and bedding it was acceptably comfortable.

OK, Yes it is clean and the beds are comfy, the view at the back is good but that’s about it. The rooms are small and cramped, twin bed room has just one chair. The bath is not even full sized. No lift so dragging our cases up two flight of stairs was no joke, unable to sit outside as they lock the gate so there’s no way to sit out and admire the view! Miserable staff - honestly hard to get a smile from some of them. Don’t choose hospitality as a career if you don’t actually like it! Weathers been amazing but the room is sweltering and no they don’t have air conditioning and no, there’s no fans. We booked bed and breakfast the ‘Full English’ looked ok but what we got was barely edible and has to be the worst breakfast l’ve ever been served. We will NOT be staying here again and l strongly suggest you don’t either. Very disappointing.

Great location, Albert Docks is within walking distance. You have a tesco beside and McDonalds across the road which is handy. Staff are very friendly. This is my 3rd time staying here as last two stays where positive. Booked triple room. Room was OK could have being cleaner. One of the single beds was dirty.... like someone had slept in the bed but wasn't changed and done as a stayover. The red stains where off putting. They did offered a room move when i phoned but I declined as we where tired after being at Liverpool game and it was late. I asked for new pillow covers and a duvet cover and I'd make the bed myself. The guy dropped a new duvet but no cover on it and two pillow covers. Luckily I travel with my own blanket but it was off putting, I'm not sure I'd stay again as you at least expect clean bed linen no matter the price of the room. I thought they redeem them selfs next day by checking the room or at least give put a duvet cover on the duvet they gave night before but didn't even touch the room or give fresh towels on second day night stay.
