Weekend in Liverpool for a big birthday celebration. The Mecure was the perfect location. Great service, clean modern room and plenty of choice at breakfast. I would definitely return.

The sea view room has a beautiful sunset view. The hotel especially the elevator is a bit old but the environment is acceptable. There are many restaurants near the pier, and the train station is not far away. The buffet breakfast is good.

Only 1 lift working so 5 minute delays most of time.
Breakfast was 15 £ and had to wait for all the items to be available at same time.Meant I had to go up 3 times.
When checking in got a double even though had requested a twin.Had to wait for lift and go back to reception. Took 15 mins.
Overall haven't stayed here in about 15 years and looks like they have done Nothing with it in the interim.

Great location and super clean hotel. Unfortunately stay was disrupted by noisy next door guests. Asked for a room swap but coincidentally all rooms were booked.
