Stayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel during the NYE. The room was big and spacious. Good location near the grocery.

Our second visit to this hotel. Staff were brilliant. Parking was brilliant. Breakfast was good. Mould in the bathroom. Only one chair but the room was booked for two. Cobwebs on the inside of the top of the windows. Stains in the bathroom sink. Starbucks a big plus. Will definitely be back though but hopefully a different room

Disappointed and annoyed that we were woken early by staff banging directly outside our room. If works need to be carried out then at least do it once guests have checked out, or do not let guests occupy those rooms. No idea what they were repeatedly banging, but it also involved painting, so not exactly urgent!

Um I don’t really know how to go about writing this review because I had a nice stay but there were some far from nice things that need pointing out. No hot water… hair in the bath, dusty tea tray and average breakfast. The scrambled eggs were swimming in water. Hardly appetising! Sausages and bacon were the saviour.
