Rooms - Clean, dated and rock hard mattresses. Pool - Clean but the pool bar was open twice. Food - Absolutely vile. Very little choice. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Bar - cocktails were unavailable. There’s a good choice of drinks. Staff are miserable and you have to pay a €1 for your cup (they do replace with a clean one) just a pain carrying it around all the time. Reception Really polite, friendly and helpful. Entertainment/Music - None existent. Definitely not 3 stars it was 2 I don’t expect luxury but I did expect slightly more, I have stayed in other 3 star hotels and this place is definitely not of the same standard. It’s in a good location. It’s a short walk to the supermarket and there are a few strips which have nice bars and shops. The beach and port are only a short walk away.

First of all never again Arrived at 1am a English girl had just been assaulted by a polish guy… he was arrested returned to the hotel and attacked a lone English women with her 1 year old son and launched vodka in a 17 year old girls face Secondly kids club was closed the whole week despite us been told this was open prior to booking so was nothing. To do for a 2 year old Ants running round the room English are not liked here at all and the whole area is not for English please do not book this hotel

Where do I start, I wish I went to another hotel. * hotels room (sink plugs don’t fit, can’t close the doors, broken toilet seats) * staff were 50/50 some were friendly and some were nice to talk to. * not child friendly - no activities for toddlers, unless you travel out of hotel. * facilities: most of the toilets were broken, the bar was always closed. Food was 50/50 and didn’t always say what you eaten most of the time.

Me and my partner booked this hotel before really seeing the other reviews. We were so put off my the reviews that we desperately tried to change hotels, and I can honestly say I’m so glad we couldn’t! Yes the rooms are basic, and some areas of the hotel are dated, but they are clean, we had a flat screen tv, mirrors, clean bedding and towels changed daily by the maids - extra pillows when we asked for them. The guests are 90% German, and I was a bit thrown off by being stared at a lot in the first few days, but doing some research in to their culture I realised it was most likely out of curiosity than malice. I think the English are so used to everyone catering to them - that the they forget they are in a different country! Yes the staff have language barriers, but they are still so positive, helpful and friendly. The bar staff made amazing drinks, the queues went down quickly and strong measures. Food was really nice. I will sa if you don’t like fish/seafood options can be limited, but they had chicken, pasta, potatoes, french fries and nuggets and lovely deserts and ice cream. There’s a coffee machine for breakfast, they don’t have English tea so may be worth bringing some tea bags if you love a brew! Full English for breakfast, but the sausages are chorizo. The snack bar had burgers and hotdogs which were really nice. You do get flies around every now and then but this has happened almost everywhere we’ve eaten! There’s been music on every night till 11pm. Lots of English groups came and we all got to know each other which was lovely! The pool is amazing, so big, and lots of shallow deep areas for all ages. Lifeguards round the pool. There’s not a lot of entertainment I will say, during our stay there was an older lady doing karaoke, with a mix of English and Spanish songs. Another night there was a banjo player but you had to pay 2euro to watch so we gave it a miss. Overall, this has been an amazing holiday. We’ve had such a lovely time, and the hotel is in the perfect location too. There’s so many things to do, the bus stop is literally round the corner so we went to a cave tour, lots of shops, we made personalised necklaces and went to ale hop. There’s beautiful tapas on the marina, and 2/3 beaches near by! Honestly, please don’t be put off by the other reviews. For the price of this hotel, it is amazing value. Yes it’s not the height of luxury, but you’re not paying height of luxury prices and the staff work really hard to give you great service! The only negative really, is that unbeknownst to us, Spanish senior citizens are given a free holiday a year, so about half way in to the holiday, hundreds and I mean hundreds of Spanish elderly people descended on to the hotel, and it was almost impossible to get your evening meal, as they were shovelling plate fulls of food and basically took over the hotel! If you’re planning a trip, just google to make sure it’s not the week you’re planning to go! Saying that they were all pleasant

Pokoje czyste prawie codziennie sprzątane. to były wspaniałe wakacje. Słońce , MAJORKA I MY!!!!!

Start with a positive : Good location and lovely staff in the restaurant. Sorry this is where it ends . This is an honest review. I would say 99.9% German guests in the hotel and area and not British friendly in the surrounding area. I have never been to an area or hotel where people are CHAIN smoking even while eating!!! Gorgeous bars and restaurants in the area , but not that British friendly. The German guests I can’t complain about it’s just the constant smoking. The hotel …….. don’t book it unless you happy with a dated dank dirty room. No bedside tables. Dressing table was an old desk with a draw missing , dirty chair but no table, no mirror apart from one in the bathroom. Bedding and curtains with holes in them . Room dated and extremely worn! The lock was broken on our door and not secure. Bar and entertainer awful . Worse drinks I have ever had all inclusive, with plastic cups that you had to pay for. When busy they don’t even replace them and just refill them . Snacks shocking , I mean SHOCKING!!! Food ok ish , and I will eat anything . We had to eat out daily and spent far more than expected . We paid over £600 all inclusive pp and aware it was not going to be a fab hotel, but didn’t expect one star ! This could be a good hotel if money spent on it! Travel from the airport took forever and you had to wait for other flights to land for additional passengers, I would recommend booking private transfer.

As a young Irish couple we were shocked at how rude the staff and people staying were, they only accommodate for Germans. The hotel was okay you get what you pay for and the rooms were very basic but clean, the guests stared at us the whole 4 day stay felt very unwelcome they would look me up and down and watch us at the pool area it was scary. On one occasion I walked out of the food area and a woman was giving me glares about what I was wearing and shaking her head. We spoke with a young German couple who agreed that the Germans are rude. The staff did not understand English ( can’t expect people in another country to speak English ) but unable to communicate with anyone. I wouldn’t recommend if you are a fussy eater, mainly fish served, the whole four days we ate rolls and chips as we don’t eat fish. You have to que in the mornings if you want eggs or pancakes and that can take up to 20 minutes. The drinks were good. I did not do my research so was unaware that Cala Ratjada was mainly a German area but to anyone English or Irish I would not recommend.
