The hotel was completely renovated a few years ago and looks tip-top. The superior room we stayed in (120) was neat, spacious, clean and brand new. There is a large walk-in shower. The beds are fine. Breakfast (until 10:30 AM) and dinner (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) are buffet style. There is more than enough choice of savory and sweet dishes. Various dishes are also freshly prepared for you according to your wishes (breakfast: fried eggs, omelettes, crêpes; dinner: various types of meat and fish). But there are also quite a few (small) downsides: - The air conditioning/heating is centrally controlled. We don't like that at all. There is a thermostat in the room, but you can't do anything with it. - The walk-in shower is open in the middle of the room. N.B. This only applies to the superior rooms. That's not helpful at all. After showering, the floor in front of the shower is completely wet and there is condensation everywhere on the cupboards, windows and mirrors. - An activation key must be collected at the reception for the safe. You have to deposit €15 deposit for this. That in itself is not a problem, but an additional €20 per week must also be paid for the safe. This only applies to the standard rooms. For the superior rooms it is free of charge. You don't experience that often anymore. And certainly not at a 4* hotel. - We sent an email to the hotel twice before our departure with some questions about the parking situation. However, there was no response whatsoever. So that can be better. - At the end of the afternoon on Thursday we returned to our room and found that it had not been cleaned. So we went to the reception. There we are told that there is no cleaning on Thursdays due to 'Umweltschutz' (?). This should have been reported at check-in. Apart from the fact that we have never experienced something so ridiculous. - The cheapest bottle of dry white wine in the restaurant costs €20.80. That is just as much as the dinner buffet costs for 2 people. In Palma you pay about half for a bottle of house wine in a restaurant. And for a 1l carafe a few euros less. So that could be a bit less. - The hotel does not have a parking garage. There is a small unpaved field next to the hotel where you can park. And there are also parking spaces along the street. But yes, the transfer buses also run to and from there. Everyone has to navigate between the parked cars with their suitcases and trolleys. - The guests consist largely of elderly Germans. This in itself does not bother you, except that they constantly shuffle around in front of your feet during the buffet. And of course when they get up from the table, they simply leave their chair where it is and thus block the 'walkways'. - Check-out time is 11:00 am. This is a bit early for a 4* hotel. Normally the check-out time is 12:00. We want to quietly pack our suitcases after breakfast
