Thalassa Lloret de Mar

Booked this hotel as it's near to the area that I wanted to visit - Pilar de la Horadada. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Really clean and a large room with a very large bed. We were located looking over the swimming pool/bar - if staying with children you would want to be in a different area of the hotel as the bar stays open until very late and plays (or it sounded like) the same music quite loud! Has great spa facilities which are free to use (I understand), although we weren't told about them we had to walk around the hotel to find it ourselves. We had breakfast included, which was the usual hot and cold buffet - a good selection. The hotel seems to be a hit with the Spanish as we seemed to be the only visitors from the UK (apart from the under 18 ****nal football team!) who were staying there together with some other football teams but not sure where they were from - footballs not my thing! The hotel has a car park which costs 5 euros a night but there is also free parking around the hotel which we did.
