"We were a little disappointed with our stay here. It certainly isn't the 4* it's advertised as. Room - very basic on par with a Travel Lodge. No kettle. Awful view from the balcony Poor aircon Staff - Very rude. Everything seemed like an inconvenience for them. Breakfast- nice choice. I preferred the cold options. The hot buffet wasn't great. Pool area - I can't believe there were no parasols in the heat. Not enough sun beds Rooftop terrace- this is something we were looking forward to but were disappointed when we couldn't access this. Apparently when asking reception we weren't superior guests so could not use this. We were never given the option when booking."

"Just returned from a week's holiday at this hotel. Having already read the many excellent reviews before my three friends an I arrived I felt confident of a good stay and wasn't disappointed. The staff were all so nice and extremely helpful. I was dubious after the first night as I was woken several times by noisy passer bys at all hours of the night but this was a one off and I slept well the rest of the week. Rooms spotless and cleaned professionally every day . Will be returning to visit Caleta next year. Thank you all once again. Martin."

"One of the best locations in Lloret, a stone's throw from the sea front and adjacent to the lovely row of covered outdoor restaurants on the front. Not all rooms have balconies, and ours didn't, but it was a lovely and very clean room. We have to mention the exceptional service we received from Reception, Kate and Julio in particular. I made a tiny mistake and we missed our return flight by a full 24 hours !!! So, stranded at Girona Airport at 3am, having checked-out. I had to book the next available flights on my laptop and phoned the hotel to see if they could take us back. (This was further complicated by having lost my wallet and all my bank cards to a pickpocket the night before). They booked us straight back in using our son's debit card details, and we were back in a new room by 5.30am, for an unexpected extra 3 days. Without their prompt and caring service we would have been extremely stuck in the early hours of the morning. Highly recommended in every way. Thank you guys."

"Very well located, the beach is right across the street, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. When we arrived, there was quite a bit of dust on the floor, so the cleaning wasn't great. The apartment was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 3 children). It's a shame there wasn't a balcony."

Yes, the location is good however that is probably the only positive… our room was no better than a cell, dark and dingy, a balcony which was covered with bars, so you could not see out, we felt so claustrophobic that we could not stay in the room any longer than we had to. Breakfast was bland and when we tried to take a croissant/ roll away with us we were reprimanded , even thou we had technically paid for the breakfast. The pool is surrounded by high buildings all sides so hardly any sun and the staff were so unhelpful with anything asked … I literally gave up. Will certainly not be staying here again"

"I couldn't really fault this hotel to be honest. Yes there are roads and buildings next to the hotel but it's in a built up area and I knew this before I went, so no issue. The road wasn't that busy at night and it wasn't noisy with the door closed. I liked my good sized balcony on the road side. It was interesting to sit there and have a drink before going out. The room was a good size and had two double beds which was great. The fridge had a lock but it was unlocked so I didn't need to pay. The wardrobe, desk, TV, iron, clothes airer and hairdryer were all fine. The Aircon worked well. I didn't use the safe. The bathroom was normal hotel size, with a good shower, bath and even a bidet. I couldn't get WiFi sitting on my bed, only in the bathroom or near the door. The pool area was a good size, it had sun until about 18:00 and plenty of good sun beds. There was a lifeguard that kept everything very orderly. The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the beach which was lovely too. Plenty of space. It's not fine sand so no sandcastles. Lloret de Mar is a 10 to 15 minute walk and is quite lively. It was nice not to be staying right amongst this. Fenals area is quieter but still has bars/restaurants and a good supermarket very close to the hotel. I didn't have a bad meal. I caught the bus to Girona for 11 euros return. This is from Lloret bus station. Girona was a great place for a day visit. The views from the old city walls aren't to be missed and the river is lovely too. I also caught the bus to Barcelona for 18 euros. These are very popular and I had to buy e-tickets online the day before. There is a bus stop outside the hotel so you don't need to go to Lloret bus station. The Barcelona bus was 30 mins late going and 15 mins late coming back. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Bacon, sausages, toast, beans, eggs, fruit, cereal, continental, coffee, juice, pancakes, waffles, pastries etc. I don't understand how anyone could be unhappy. I didn't have lunch or dinner here. The whole hotel was spotless. Nothing was broken, everything worked. The maid did a great job with our room. The receptionist spoke different languages and was helpful. Had a lovely week's holiday here."
