"The hotel itself was fine, but it's quite a distance from both Blanes and Tossa. If you're planning to visit Tossa, I'd recommend staying directly in the town of Tossa instead."

"Hotel Delamar is superb. Great location on the main street where most of the bars are and 2 minutes walk away from the seafront. All areas of the hotel are so clean, the staff are very good, polite and the VIP area at the top is really good. 3 rooftop pools and a bar. Didn't have the food off the rooftop menu but whenever a food order went past, it always smelled good especially the garlic bread! Breakfast is a great choice. Eggs, sausages, beans, even pasta and the usual things like pastries, ham, cheese you will find something to have. Would definitely stay again."

"The location in the heart of the nightlife isn't for everyone; it's noisy until 5:00 AM. Soundproofing is minimal; conversations can be heard from neighboring rooms. The hotel is mostly crowded with young people partying until the early hours. We weren't very comfortable. Cleaning was average. There's no refrigerator. A hairdryer is available at reception for a 20-euro deposit. Breakfasts are decent, and you can come back several times before 1:30 PM, which is what young people take advantage of when they have breakfast and lunch. Overall, it's a very good option for a student campus; older guests might want to choose something more substantial."

"Everything was perfect, the sea view is superb and the location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms impeccable. The breakfast was very generous. The only problem, the jacuzzi and the indoor swimming pool at the Rooftop were cold. Everything else perfect"

"Like the majority of seaside hotels, this hotel has not been refurbished, but it was very nice. The room we had was a sea-view room, and it was bright, spacious, and serviced every morning. The staff was great! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfasts offered a lot of options, and we appreciated that different menu items were available every morning. We don't really recommend the dinner, as you can find better options in nearby restaurants (you can read about them on my page). There is also a nice sun terrace which is great for sunset pictures. In overall, a very nice experience and if we come to Lloret again- we will book this hotel. "

"I have never stayed in a hotel like this, and I have been traveling everywhere for 40 years. Small rooms where you can barely use the toilet. One toilet for the entire hotel; with wet clothes from the pool you have to go through the lounge and take the elevator to the basement. Small pool, small garden, really outdated. Food was good but very limited. A lot of noise in the rooms. No relaxation whatsoever. Impossible in the evenings, not even music. You surely like to do a little dance when traveling. Not a soul to be seen in the lounge in the evening. Really not even worth 2 stars, and this for adults. No air mattress by the pool, nothing was there, and paying a lot, even 30 euros for breakfast on the first day, no. Never again this hotel; are there many others in Lorraine?"

"We have just returned from a family holiday here with our two children, and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our overall experience. There were some positives, but there were also so many issues that it had a significant impact on our holiday. **Arrival and transfer:** After a flight to Barcelona, we were left waiting for over an hour in direct sunlight across the road from the airport for our transfer to arrive. We then had approximately a 3-hour transfer to the hotel. When we finally arrived, we were told there was no running water in the hotel for around 3 hours. We were told this was because the whole street was affected and there was nothing the hotel could do, which may well have been the case, but after such a long journey it was incredibly frustrating to arrive and not even be able to use the toilet or wash properly. **Restaurant:** The restaurant was probably the biggest source of stress for us. There was basically no queue system. People pushed and shoved their way into the restaurant and then continued pushing and shoving once inside to get to the food. It felt like getting into a football stadium rather than a restaurant. There were no barriers and very little attempt from staff to control the crowds. We were travelling with two children and I honestly started dreading breakfast and dinner. On one occasion, we were shown to our table, put our drinks down and went to get our food, only to return and find another family sitting at our table. We were left standing there with plates of food and nowhere to sit. We actually ate out on some evenings simply because we couldn't face the chaos in the restaurant. The food itself was mediocre — nothing terrible, but certainly nothing amazing and just "okay" in our opinion. **Sunbeds:** The daily sunbed situation was another battle. People were queuing from around 9am to get a sunbed, while many beds were then left unattended for hours. It made getting a sunbed feel like another competition rather than a relaxing holiday. **Other guests:** Unfortunately, there were also quite a lot of rude and inconsiderate behaviour from other guests. People would push past you into the lifts even when you were already standing there waiting and queuing. There were also large groups of teenage boys being extremely loud and obnoxious around the pool, blasting music and behaving stupidly in the pool. On one occasion, one of them actually sat on my sunlounger while I was in the pool. **Noise:** We also experienced significant noise from other rooms every night, which regularly disturbed us and made it difficult to relax and sleep properly. **Room:** Our room also had a light that wasn't working and there was visible mould in the bathroom. Very very basic furniture and dated decor. Again, not what we expected from our accommodation. The hallways to the rooms stunk of urine and looked like something from a horror movie, dark and like a 70s time warp. **Entertainment:** The daytime entertainment w"
