The bathroom It is very cramped, unworthy of a 5-star luxury hotel, with a single sink and narrow bathtub. It's hard to hold on to two people. In addition, the sink does not have a seal, so water runs onto the floor and makes it very slippery. Reversed hot and cold water taps in the bathtub: watch out for burns! Skincare products in very ordinary containers. The bedroom Beautifully decorated, it is also rather small, except for the very large bed. No table or desk (so no stationery or pencil), a nice chest of drawers but with a drawer that's difficult to use (no checking), no tea or coffee making facilities. The spa Access must be requested at reception. This is done via a narrow staircase partially equipped with a railing, and potentially dangerous if you have leg problems. The water in the small jacuzzi is barely lukewarm and you have to press very hard and several times to start it bubbling. As for the large jacuzzi, the water is at room temperature and access is impractical via resistant hinged doors and a few steps. The sauna and hammam are not always in operation, you must ask for them to be turned on. The edges of the pool, at water surface level, are yellow with dirt. The glass walls of the room are very dirty. Finally, the toilets are not always equipped with soap and toilet paper: you have to ask at reception! The restaurants The one on the beach only offers a very limited choice: no salad, only sandwiches and no desserts based on fresh fruit. As for the main restaurant, the food is very good but the quantities are insufficient, and the quality/quantity/price ratio is poor. On a commercial level, it is just as disastrous. We found it hard to ask for ice cubes every morning. We had to insist a lot so that we were not charged for them, including collecting them from reception. We were staying at this hotel for 3 weeks and, after a tough negotiation, we only obtained a ridiculous price reduction. Concerning the water leak in the bathroom, the director, who came with his assistant, splashed water on the sink and, hysterically, accused us of doing the same, denying the leak problem, even though the sink had not attached. We got a new room last week, insisting once again. Some staff members were unfriendly. No little attention either and, yet, they knew that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary: ​​no decoration in the room or the bathroom, no cake or fruit basket… We pointed this out and, a few days later late we found a bottle of cava and 2 flutes when returning to the room. Rigat was perfect for what we were looking for. The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly and helpful in every way. The building is gorgeous in a classical Spanish way. Our suite was the best! We had an extraordinary terrace overlooking the beach and the Mediterranean. Fenals beach was the best we found on Costa Brava (far better than the main beach of Lloret de Mar). The access from the hotel was easy. The bed was luscious and comfortable. The air conditioning was much appreciated. We'd go back any time!

We booked for 6 people for lunch. The oldest waiter may have had a personal problem but it was a disaster. 2 starters forgotten, mine arrived after the main course. My daughters had the sole with shrimp sauce. The sauce arrives when they have finished the sole. A rather cold and haughty attitude from this gentleman despite our attempts at joking and no apologies on his part for the multiple errors made. We left close to €600, we regret it
