Terrible Service; staff not trained how this place is 5 stars is beyond me. The location is great but it’s an older hotel that is now being renovated. If we were given a heads up or warned I would have understood but they gave us no forewarning and when we got there we felt like we were staying on a construction site. The pool and pool bar area was a complete building site, jack hammering starts at 8am, only serve (mediocre) drinks at the pool so we had to go up the hill to the title to get your own food. When we did this and brought the food down to the pool they had forgotten to put any utensils in the bag, when we asked the pool bar manager for cutlery he said he didn’t have any and we had to go get our own. What an absolute joke, clearly the staff are frustrated by the condition of the hotel and the fact people are actually staying there at the same time. There were dozens of builders, heavy duty construction equipment all over the pool area. Even Dangerous tools left lying around that someone could get seriously hurt by. No toilets at the pool so had to go to a nearby restaurant. We stayed in room 132, 50% of the ocean view is blocked by overgrown bushes, we music blasting in the area outside our room all night. Housekeeping accidentally removed one of our duvet so we were short.

Endroit magique et personnel au top ! Restaurant excellent Le paradis à l’état pur …. Le calme absolu 70 kms de Barcelone pour les petites virées et cadaques petit port mytique. Hotel très bien placé dans ce coin de verdure. Plage quasiment privée ! Nous n’avons pas été déçus mais enchantés

Nice ,intimate and beach view hotel, superb staff ,good food. Room 118 had sewage smell. The hotel is starting a large construction of a beach facility causing lost of noise and dust . This is not disclosed in their website ! Disclosure of such facts to clients is an industry standard...

W najbliższym czasie to będzie świetny hotel, niestety na ten moment na dolnym poziomie trwają prace związane z budową nowe strefy z basenami i restauracją przy plaży. Niestety hotel o tym nie informuje na swojej stronie Plusem napewno jest miła obsługa i świetny widok na może z tarasu hotelowego. Niestety widok na może z pokoju psuje dach restauracji. Hotel z dużym potencjałem ale wymagający odnowy i dostosowania standardów do hoteli 5 gwiazdkowych, na szczęście powoli się za to zabierają ( szkoda tylko że w sezoni)

In the middle of Fenals beach and surrounded by vegetation a few meters from the Santa Clotilde and Mar o Murtra Gardens, you will find this comfortable and luxurious (although not to deserve the 5-star category) hotel. It has a gym, swimming pool, large lounges and comfortable and bright rooms. The staff is friendly and the a**osphere is discreet and perfect to relax for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. The downside is the breakfast buffet, which is somewhat scarce and the sweet part is industrial pastries. The restaurant is not much better with apparently pre-cooked dishes.

We enjoyed our stay at Santa Marta but were very disappointed when we arrived to discover that the entire beach, pools and beach restaurants were under construction. The website had no information regarding the construction and it really impacted our stay. We should have received information in advance if basically all of the amenities were unavailable. Service was great and I’m sure it will be a nice hotel when it isn’t closed for construction. The prices should have reflected this but they were clearly not being transparent. Otherwise, everything was great including the service, food and rooms.

Superb hotel with an exceptional location, very beautiful sea view room, very comfortable bedding, very well appointed bathroom. Very pleasant spa, very good gourmet restaurant, perfect service. And above all an excellent welcome (in French) with very helpful staff.
