Hotel Rosamar Garden Resort

I booked the hotel on your website on the 11th April after a stay in Girona city your 4* rating and photos on your website looked promising. On arrival we were greeted with chaos people in queues at reception, security staff stood smoking outside the resort very unprofessional. When we got to our room the smell of dirty drains and sewage, stained dirty windows/patios and nasty over use of disinfectant. The toilet was covered in excrement dirty bathroom filthy floors. Under the beds was sickening full of dirt dust layers of it. Filthy dirty floors. The shampoo was empty. And fridge wasn’t even cold! No duvets just a thin sheet to sleep in! Also brown over blankets that are not changed I watched the cleaning staff!!!!! At night people were drunk screaming swearing loudly in the next room banging all night. The air conditioning didn’t work it was boiling hot and my kids were dehydrated and felt sick. 20 euros to borrow the iron for an hour 60 euros for towel deposit!!! Wow really???? ridicilous Breakfast was frightening the lack of hygiene people touching food with hangs no hand sanitiser anywhere! Staff not using correct hygiene. The dishes were filthy cups dirty with stains. At this point I was feeling sick. The whole resort is disgusting no organisation and a 1* rating if that. Your hotel is not a 4* the smell the cheap disinfectant and lack of the cleanliness left us all feeling sick and bad stomachs. The disinfectant was overpowering and sickening. The drains and sewage in rooms. The outside toilets were not cleaned all day I was sat near them no soap the hand dryer was not working no toilet roll and nothing to dry hands they were old dirty rotten and smelly!!! It just gets worse.. I feel I have been charged for something that is mis sold and falsely advertised. Also I feel other people should be made aware of all of the above before booking what is hotel claiming to be a 4*. Be aware don’t book misleading rating.

Found this good deal online for a mini break near the end of half term for 4 days half board so couldn’t turn it down. Hotel had everything on the look of it so was good especially with loads of slides kid pool and little slow river ride and play ground indoor pool that’s just to name a few things to keep them busy. Checked in quickly and found our room easily nice and basic. Tv with no English channels lucky we got tablets and phones so no problem there. Bed was comfortable room was quite warm I did manage to cool room 1 was blazing hot like a sauna. The internet was ent working for 2 days so was sharing it with the kids which was ok little annoying but lucky I had enough data and it refreshed itself while we was out there. Hotel not to busy since start of season and yes the outside pools are could but there is a warmer pool indoor which I recommend and jacuzzi for the adults you can’t go wrong. The food for me was dead to be honest to my liking not much choices and the same food you more or less you see everyday. Out of the 4 days I stayed there there was only nuggets 1 day hut they were broccoli nuggets so kids didn’t like it terrible just a plain nuggets. I personally don’t like the streaky bacon they call it and not much options. Yeah dessert was a let down for me only thing I liked was the little kids ice cream and the strawberry yoghurt and whipped cream other then than I weren’t impressed. Luckily there’s enough food places around if you want to spend money I highly recommend and for a decent price. If I come back i probably won’t do half board again maybe just breakfast definitely not all inclusive it won’t be value for money for me and the family. Overall the mini break was great kids had a blast which is the main thing for them and us adults to get a break from reality. Most things went smooth only little stuff other than that would gave it a 5 out of 5 but 4 out of 5 is still good.

We have just left the Rosamar Garden resort after 1 week. The rooms are clean but basic. This didn’t bother us as we used it as a base and spent most of our time either in the pools or in the town. The outdoor pools were very cold but it’s just the beginning of the season so I’m sure they’ll warm up very soon. The food was ok and there were plenty of choices. What really made this holiday was the staff… the whole team from the reception, the cleaners and the waiting/catering staff are so patient. I couldn’t believe the rudeness and self-entitlement of some of the other guests staying at the hotel but the staff were highly professional and remained polite.

My son and I arrived on the 5th of April, to celebrate my birthday week. When, I walked into the hotel the smell that greeted me was amazing. It smelled good, looked good and the staff were very helpful. My son troubles with motion sickness and he fell sick at reception while we were checking in. Anass, helped me out quickly when my son vomited right there and told me not to worry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On my birthday 6th of April I was treated to a bottle of wine and a birthday card which was brought to my room by Pati, who sang and wished me a happy birthday. It was a huge surprise and it made me feel extra special. Anas. Pati, Melisa and the rest of the team all sang me happy birthday at reception and I loved it. I have no complaints really. I enjoyed my stay. My son met friends, enjoyed the pool and slides even though it was cold but that's no fault of the hotel. The indoor pool he also enjoyed, I enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. The property was clean and bathrooms were all around and clean. If you have small kids the entertaiment will be good for them. The food was okay nothing fancy, there was an option to purchase at another shop or off property if we liked. So there was always an option. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will be back soon. My family and I went to Rosamar Gardens Resort in Costa Brava, Spain. The hotel was truly amazing and Beautiful. The swimming pools, food, drinks and desserts were all great. The staff made the entire experience totally amazing and unforgettable. At the reception, Ms Elle, Alisa and co. were very competent. They made sure all our needs were fulfilled. Our bedroom was clean, fresh and very spacious. The beach was very close to the hotel and many restaurants, bars and clubs. Thank you Rosamar Gardens Resort.
