Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende im Giardino Lago. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Frühstück ist sehr ausgiebig und top Qualität. Wir waren eine Familie mit Kind und wir können die Kinderfreundlichkeit des Hotels bestätigen.

Based on pricing we had high expectations and were disappointed as “value for money” was definitely not there. Personnel was rushed and less attentful. Rooms relatively small and food/ drinks prices too high for what you get!

Very nice boutique hotel, with very welcoming people. Great food at the hotel restaurant with an astonishing view right at the lake. They offer bicycles for free, only 20min ride from Locarno, along the lake, very nice. Breakfast of high quality food, presented in a very nice way, not too much on the buffet plates, but really high quality food. We will definitely come back as soon as possible.

I travel frequently but have never been inspired to write a review. This trip was my first fully relaxed vacation. The hotel is gorgeous, overlooking a beautiful lake and line of wonderful snow capped mountains. The staff is very friendly and accommodating-all of them! The restaurant has very good food with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. The rooms are quant and comfortable with a home-like feel. I will be back!

Es fehlte leider eine herzliche Bedienung. Ein Amuse-Bouche bei diesen hohen Preisen: Fehlanzeige. Ich hatte das Tartar scharf bestellt, hat nicht geklappt es war ziemlich fad. Die Bedienung hat dann nach intervenieren ein Tabasco Fläschen gebracht . Die Pasta mit Languste war gut. Die Serviceangestellte hat vermutlich ein hohes Trinkgeld erwartet, was wir leider aufgrund des dürftigen Services nicht geben konnten. Die Gäste werden grösstenteils nicht persönlich verabschiedet, obwohl Fr. 430.- doch kein schlechter Umsatz war von uns. U N G L A U B L l C H.

We were looking for something in the area that would be smaller and have a similar feel to Como. We loved it! This hotel is small and very well appointed. The attention to detail and service was top notch. The staff even remembered it was my birthday and several members wished me happy birthday throughout the day. The small attention to detail really made a difference. We will be back with our kids. Beautiful lake and setting. Lots of amenities like SUP and bikes, provided by the hotel at no cost.

Lovely property. Fantastic location right on the lake a short walk into Minusio. Staff in the restaurant could be warmer and friendlier and price/ quality is on high side both in restaurant and generally, especially for non lake view rooms. Breakfast staff need to replenish items when these run out. The best aspect of hotel is its location right in front of lake with a feeling of privacy and yet its proximity to Locarno.

The entire team was exceptional and the hotel is so beautiful and well situated on the lake. Sandro, Philip and Zeff as well as all of the other staff made our vacation exceptional. Strongly recommend this propery, Food was exceptional at the restaurant and breakfasts on the patio were a delight and delicious.
