1st stay in this hotel which, as its name suggests, benefits from an exceptional view. The + magnificent garden - excellent cuisine - perfect breakfast buffet - impeccable cleanliness - friendly staff - pleasant swimming pool. The - we were in a room overlooking the road therefore extremely noisy (74) to be absolutely avoided - room without air conditioning therefore stifling heat - car essential because it is far from everything and public transport is not great - car parking problematic.

Everything was perfect. The location, the welcome, the catering, the room service etc… A reception hostess who knows French perfectly advised us on several very interesting visits to the beautiful secluded valleys. A top hotel that I sincerely recommend and where I will have great pleasure in returning. Shuttle service from the hotel to the landing stages

4th stay in this magnificent hotel where the welcome is top notch, the rooms pleasant. The atypical side gives all its charm to this place. Not really recommended for people with limited mobility. A small improvement to make to facilitate access to the swimming pool (installation of 2 stairs in the shallowest part for example). But I highly recommend this place

2nd time we have stayed there but this time with our dogs. We love the location, the calm and the setting. Very helpful and friendly staff. A little warm in the rooms but clean and no frills. Magnificent flowers. A great buffet lunch with plenty of choice. Very nice swimming pool

Very friendly, helpful staff. The view of the lake towards Locarno-Ascona is a dream. The hotel complex is very well maintained. The rooms are comfortably furnished and have everything you need. The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. We would love to come back to Vira!
