What a fantastic service from Glen, Louise and their team at the Dryfesdale and at their sister hotel The Queens. They were phoned at 3pm on a Saturday to see if they could save a wedding for over 100 guests, many needing accommodation, due to the woeful, non existent response from a nearby, so called 5 star hotel, who had lost power due to storm Arwen. They pulled out all the stops and by 5pm and opened up the Drysdale, had all the daytime guests booked into rooms, had transported them to their sister hotel, The Queens, and arranged drinks and a cold buffet. A piper was there to pipe them all in and the staff could not have been more helpful. By 6pm they had the reception room set up and the evening guests arriving at 7pm would not have known it hadn’t been prepared days before. The room was professionally set up and lit, with a disco and a hot buffet. They even managed to re-arrange the organised fireworks display to the new venue. I am so grateful to their professionalism, hard work and can do attitude. My son and future daughter in law had put on a brave face throughout the earlier fiasco but to see the relief and broad smiles on their faces when they saw their reception room was so moving. Glen, Louise, thank you from the bottom of my heart
