Must try to experience one night stay at Trulli. Very cold inside and no need to turn on air-con. Strategic location and just 5 mins walk to the main attraction. Reasonable price and with complimentary breakfast at one of the cafe. Nice croissant offered by them :)

This hotel is centrally located in a beautiful city, next to the train station and within walking distance of all those trulli, a magnificent cathedral and the main touristy part of town where there are many restaurants, cafes and bars. Despite this being an UNESCO World Heritage Site and at the height of the tourist season, it was not especially busy. The Astoria hotel service was exceptional throughout my stay. There were issues with the internet initially but those were quickly fixed by Franchesco, the irrepressible front desk attendant who also poured me a great glass of red at their bar. His help didn't stop there - he helped me with printing my boarding pass and showing me the locations of everything I needed to see. Thank you. The breakfast the next day was outstanding with fruits, cereal, pies, meats, cheeses, yoghurts and various other goodies. This place was really good value.

This boutique hotel is really very special. As others have said, the rooms are beautiful, spacious and with beautiful balconies overlooking the local Trullis. The hotel is beautifully styled, and continental breakfast was great too. But it’s the service that made Palazzo Scotto really stand out. Valerio, the general factotum, welcomed us to his hotel and to Alberobello warmly and with great style. He offered local history, recommendations and was very charming. After dinner at a local restaurant we came back to Scotto for drinks to find Matthew, a great young pianist, entertaining the diners at the hotel. What’s more, Valerio appeared again, this time to croon beside the piano. He’s a very good singer and they had a varied repertoire which built a fantastic atmosphere. Definitely the most memorable evening we spent in Puglia. The team at this hotel pull out all the stops. Highly recommend.

I do not usually write reviews but feel compelled to write one about this wonderful hotel, having just returned home from a two-week stay there. First of all, Noci is a perfect base for a holiday in the beautiful region of Puglia. While it is certainly easiest to have a car to get around, it is possible to do so (as we did) by public transport (train and bus) and transfer cars (there are surprisingly no taxis in the town). The hotel is right in the heart of the beautiful town which has a choice of wonderful restaurants, cafés and bars within easy walking distance and some shops and lovely old streets to happily lose yourself in for a few hours. Noci feels a really authentic and special experience of life in a small southern Italian town: by day, the town is fairly quiet and certainly unspoilt by tourists and by night, Noci is lively with locals out for a meal, a walk, passing by the hours with friends on a bench in the central piazza, having a delicious gelato or stopping to listen to one of the many free concerts in the piazza or park. The hotel is almost next door to a great pizzeria, full of locals, which has been there for fifty years, and is a few doors away from an amazing gelateria with an array of delicious flavours (and friendly staff) and a lovely deli. There is park across the road and a church at the end of the road. We managed to fit in memorable day trips to 12 other towns in Puglia, all of which had their own unique charm. The hotel itself is lovely - the rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was great (a good selection of pastries and cakes, breads, eggs, a selection of cold meats and cheese, yoghurts and some lovely fresh fruit). What I most wanted to write about though were all the staff at the hotel who went over and above to make our holiday so special. A massive thank you to all of you for the many little touches you added throughout our stay with you and for always being so kind and friendly: Giuseppe in the breakfast room was always kind and perceptive and kept the water for our tea piping hot and always put a special plate of fresh fruit (delicious apricots) on our table each morning as he knew we loved them! Sonia cleaned our rooms beautifully every day and always had a lovely smile for us. Flavia and Francesca went the extra mile, finding detailed bus and train routes for us and organising transfers so that we could see all the beautiful sights in Puglia and made us feel as though it wasn’t any trouble, even though I am sure it must have involved lots of work. The lovely man on duty at night was always friendly too. And saving the best for last, the wonderful Giovanna who is in charge of the hotel. What can we say?! We travel a lot around the world but no one has ever gone to so much trouble for us as Giovanna - what an incredible leader of a brilliant team. She took customer service to a whole new level - some small examples and I know there are many more, she made it possible for us to have the most

Stayed for two nights as part of an exodus Puglia tour from U.K. . Lovely area , our little trulli house was located the opposite side of the park . Well equipped if you wanted to self cater . Small shower but plenty of hot water . Comfortable bed . Everything very clean . Breakfast ok in the wine bar other side of park in Main Street . Pretty place to visit , restaurants aplenty & some nice rooftop terraces for drinks & watching the amazing sunsets . Magical experience staying in a trulli house .

Struttura accogliente e pulita, camere minimal però complete di tutto e confortevoli quanti basta. Munite di aria condizionata. Posti auto limitati, tuttavia se al rientro doveste trovarli tutti occupati sarà sufficiente chiedere all’host il quale vi consiglierà dove parcheggiare gratuitamente ed in sicurezza (area privata) a pochi metri dall’hotel. Colazione nella media, buffet fornito il giusto in corrispondenza del prezzo pagato. Le camere vengono pulite tutti i giorni e gli asciugamani sostituiti. L’unica pecca è che le camere sono poco isolate tra loro e quindi si sentono molto ti rumori degli altri ospiti, soprattuto doccia, quando chiudono le porte oppure la televisione. Soggiorno comunque gradevole, consigliato!

Stayed for 6 nights ta the end of September. By this stage it was no longer High Season and the only restaurant available was the main one; also apart from the same singer who appeared most night to sing during Dinner and at the outside bar afterwards there was no other entertainment and there were no 'organised' activities. Room in one of the three room pods was functional: bed comfortable, shower good, several power points; small fridge. Rooms were cleaned very well daily. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Free parking onsite. Main restaurant was like a works canteen: tables in rows, plastic chairs, small paper serviettes. There was water (still or sparkling) and wine (red or white) on each table, refreshed daily. Layout of serving area was poor as it is in one long line with no clear differentiation for each course so what happened was that there was a long line of guests (particularly when there was a coach party) and guest had to squeeze through the line if they wanted a different course. There were not enough staff which meant there was a long wait and the staff could be very rude. Some times particularly serving areas were not staffed which resulted in more waiting and frustration of guests. Tables were not cleared of dishes efficiently and so guest moved their finished plates to adjoining tables. Understandably being Italy most dishes were based on seafood and pork/bacon and not much other choices sometimes. Reception staff spoke good English but this was not so evident in the restaurant. Surprisingly lack of vegetables available. Good location for exploring Puglia, so use as a base and consider eating out at least some nights.
