Hotels Near Indah in Lombok

We stayed in this accommodation for a total of 4 days. The overall experience is below all our expectations and below average. The service and staff are the only thing that did not disappoint us. We were accommodated in a ”superior room” with a view of the garden. The room is spacious and has enough light. A big disadvantage is the constant humidity in the room that comes from the walls. The walls are covered with plasterboards that are so thin that when you lean against the wall a little, the board breaks. Unfortunately, plasterboards on the walls do not have any substructure and reinforcement, so they crack easily. We had that accident and had to pay for the damage, even though the wall is bad in itself. The towels also had a strong smell of moisture and a very strong sour smell, which is not the least bit pleasant when you wipe your face and body. The same thing was present when I asked for the towels to be replaced. The bathroom has an open part, so we had several encounters with animals that end up there quite by chance; frogs, lizards, grasshoppers, ants. It is certainly not pleasant when a 30 cm lizard flies into your bathroom while you are taking a shower. The food was below my expectations. Be aware that the breakfast is quite meager and the portions are small. Tetebat has more than enough accommodation, so I would recommend you to choose another one and you will certainly get the conditions for a better experience.

The stay at origin was just fantastic . The rooms are clean . Breakfast is excellent with just enough of everything . The pools are kept clean . Motor bike hire reasonable . Out of town so you need a bike to get around . Great stay at Original

20min from airport ,took grab taxi (200k rp) We simply stayed in resort - eat, beach, stroll, simple hike up neighboring hill. Sea is full of seagrass ,not ideal to swim. Not advisable to eat outside warungs,many flies around and on good.

Lombok Chinese people rarely stay in Kuta for a week and have not heard Chinesetown is very deserted. The resort is amazing. The beautiful courtyard has a special person who pruning flowers and plants every day. The swimming pool is also very good and the service is very good. The staff will say hello. I think it can be improved: 1. Breakfast is a fixed tea coffee juice fruit + an optional staple food, but most of the choices are Benedict eggs. What is more monotonous? If it is not recommended for more than three days, breakfast at the hotel 2 restaurants There are a lot of flies in the room, and it is very annoying when I eat. Although there is a small fan on the table, it does not work much. However, it is a problem in many restaurants in Lombok. 3 The bathroom is semi-open and connected to the backyard. It is also a night when the lights are on the floor and all the bugs are on the floor. . I’ll call the front desk and tell me to turn off the lights. 😂 I hope these measures can do a good job.

I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

The hotel is quite decent. Ok for couples and families. Near to the fast food like McDonald at Matarram Mall, convenient store and even Chatime (Korean fast food) just next to the hotel. Transportation (Grab) are easy to get around. I like that they are eco friendly....every level have a umber of water dispensers as such, no bottled water in the room. Good job!!!

The umpteenth time staying at Lombok Astoria, always satisfied with the condition of the hotel and its service. The hotel's interior design looks luxurious and high class. The view of the room is very beautiful, with views of the Rinjani mountains. Spacious rooms, great facilities. The breakfast menu is varied and delicious. The restaurant staff is very caring, respectful and serves elegantly. The uniform is well laid out. There is a clean swimming pool, my children loved it

Ths is an unbelievably perfect resort, discreetly positioned a short distance from the most scenic and atmospheric Selang Belanak beach. The choice of varied private villas are top notch, we stayed in the Joey villa, it was like a tropical show home with a great sundeck pool and jacuzzi. The 2 bedrooms were cool and with well appointed outdoor bathrooms. The restaurant, bar and secluded sports bar were brilliant and only surpassed with great menu, top chef and the whole of the team that services this resort. Friendly, professional and always smiling, from the garden team, kitchen, front of house and restaurant staff we only wished we could stay for longer or be in a position to invest in one of the units plots available. The owner, Michael was a top man, humble in his development but friendly, professional and most knowledgeable of the area and always willing to share a laugh or solve a question. A fellow Leeds United fan, albeit fro Sydney thank you to you and your brilliant staff, you have a great place that surely will only go from strength to strength. One of the best hotel options that you can choose in Senggigi. The hotel is spacious and lovely, the hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, the check-in process also fast. The hotel has the amenities and facilities which you may need during your stay. The view is directly to the beach so it is very suitable for those who come to enjoy holidays alone, or with family or friends!

Took a 2 hr 20 mins direct Scoot flight from Singapore and then a 1.5 hr car ride to the resort. Booked a car directly from resort and driver was waiting outside after exiting the airport with resort name. We booked the family suite which was the premier suite and the premier room combined, it had a connecting door. Room was huge but no bathtub in either rooms. Separate shower and toilet. There’s also a outdoor shower but I think it’s only for the ground floor units. Comes with safe deposit, kettle and fridge. No ironing board. Their laundry is rather reasonable price. Beds were very comfortable and their air conditioning is cold. We had a few power shut downs but it was resumed very quickly in less than 20 secs. Nice beach but not suitable for swimming as the waves were huge. They have nice pools and sun decks. They have 2 restaurants serving Italian, western and Indonesia food. The Italian restaurant ‘Kliff’ is a must try. Superb food and quality at reasonable prices. Book a table to watch the sunset with Bali island in view. Beautiful sunset. The resort have a spa and gym as well. Tried the spa, prices were very reasonable and cheaper than Bali. Booked their snorkelling trips to the Gili islands and it was awesome! Gili Nanggu was our fav. Will definitely come again, Lombok is more laid back and without the Bali crowds. Things were cheaper too. If you want a nice, relaxing, quiet and good prices, come to Lombok. If you prefer pubs, shopping and crowds, then go to Bali. There’s also public ferries connection between Bali and Lombok. It takes approx 2 hours. Most of them understand simple English and remembers our preference for coffee and how we like our eggs done.
