Whispering Woods Resort-Lonavala

I visited the Woods Resort last week. This was my first trip in ages, let alone a solo trip. After a stressful year, I called the resort on a whim in the wee hours. The staff at Woods Resort were professional and friendly in understanding my needs and fixed the perfect cottage. The elevated cottage I stayed in had the most beautiful views of the forest and the organic farm. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The Woods Resort is family-friendly, safe, and clean. Although the buffet spread had limited items, everything served was delicious and perfect for sensitive palettes like mine. I highly recommend Woods Resort for families and solo travelers looking for peaceful getaways to destress.

The place is very nice and lively. Enjoyed swimming pool, food and evening DJ.... The atmosphere was cool & relaxing. Good place to engergiz yourself :) Visited nearby places like Tiger point, Pawna dam,... I love Lonavala.

Stay was very nice in premium cabin which has its own plunge pool, we liked the ambience and place surrounding resort , this resort will be very nice for group 10 ppl, where in u get a lawn of ur own to have a small celebration. Food doesn't give you a wow affect but you won't be left hungry, the resort gives you a complementary walk in the private property of sets in the city, it is nicely made for the current photo crazy youth, you can fill up ur Instagram page with this. Overall a good stay of one nite.

Worst service ever I have Made payment in advance but It's a medical emergency I am not able to go before an hour i call them for postpone booking n ***ager is saying we don't do refund n reschedule i was not even asking for refund but atleast i can postpone my Booking.. on availability.. waste of money totally dissatisfied.. Please think 100 times before bookings.. ***ager is totally rude n 0 cooperation.. esa policy kidr b nai dekha ki reschedule nai hotaa... Advance m paisa le liyaa so now we can't do anything.. not recommendable at all.

We were two couples returning to Lonavla after ***y years. Booking the resort was a breeze, though our emails to them went unanswered. We arrived and after the basic formalities were shown our rooms. While one was ok, the other had a strong smell of insecticide which they claimed was the sanitizer. Unbearable. We gave them a few minutes to treat the room as no other room was available. Comfortable rooms though small. The showers/taps though require you to leave water running for about 20-30 minutes before one gets warm/hot water. A colossal waste of water! Sheets and towels were changed every day - something I really appreciated. Noisy music on Saturday night coming from the dance floor was not our choice of music and it was loud enough to disturb us in our rooms. Room service was excellent as was the morning breakfast served. Breakfast buffet opens at 8:30am. Staff were very courteous and responsive.

Although the place is nestled around nature, it’s just a few meters off the old Mumbai Pune highway. I would recommend booking the family tent which is a 2 bedroom space instead of the Royal tent. You get more space and 2 air-conditioners. The room was well equipped with an electric kettle, mini refrigerator, TV and a clean spacious toilet. We had a lovely stay and I would wish to highlight a couple of things. Good space for children, courteous staff especially I would like to mention Mr. Mondal, he was extremely well ***nered and helpful. The food was good in terms of quality as well as quantity. I’d wish to suggest an area for improvement though, the swimming pool could have a bigger adult section with strict pool rules. This would ensure the pool remains clean and hygienic at all times. Overall a lovely experience and I would surely recommend friends and family to experience Whispering Woods, Lonavala.

It's located just after getting down from Pune Mumbai express Highway. So actual beauty can't be seen of Lonawala from here. Location and stay was not that appealing when you say you stayed in resort at Lonawala... One day before some marriage party was there so when we entered at 2 pm complete resort was a mess and clearance was going on... Swimming pool condition was not at all ok.Water color was little yellowish and smelly too. Evening time some company complete team came for their function and whole dj and outside area engaged because of them..can't those people but resort ***agement should have planned properly for other guests also..as they were all drinking and dancing so wasnt felt safe to be there so we stayed at our room. Room size was good and we really enjoyed family tent. We ordered sandwich and chicken pakora in evening and it was pathetic in taste. Our breakfast and dinner was pre booked and overall both the things we found ok to eat..no issue in served food.
