"We had a three night stay at the Athiva with some family celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday. The hotel is beautiful with spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The staff is excellent and they go out of their way. Special mention to Sanket and, Dinchen at the A Diner. Another standout is the food - lots of choice in the breakfast buffet and each dish we ordered for lunch or dinner was a hit. Kudos to all the chef Vinayak and the team. I would certainly con here again. It’s a quick getaway but yet feels like a nice escape."

"This our 6th visit to this place.. we love their mountain facing rooms they are extremely peaceful and beautiful. The whole experience is always very calming due to location close to market yet away closer to mountains. Food is average here but in our last 2 visits we have met Mr. Saurabh at the restaurant and he is very helpful, kind and good at his work. He attended us with a smile every time we entered the restaurant which we loved. All the best to him and we look forward to coming here again soon."

" Stay Away — More Focused on Humiliating Guests Than Hospitality This hotel clearly spends more effort writing long, defensive replies to negative reviews than actually fixing the issues. Instead of addressing feedback professionally, their team goes out of its way to discredit guests, mock them, and question if they even stayed — all in public view. During our stay, we experienced poor room conditions (damp smell, no basic amenities), an unsafe pool area, and unhelpful staff. But what shocked us more was their team’s obsession with “rebutting” guests online — often with sarcasm, personal attacks, and outright contradictions. This is not a hotel trying to improve — it’s a hotel trying to silence criticism. The arrogance and hostility in their replies speak louder than any ratings. Avoid unless you enjoy being gaslit and humiliated after a bad stay."

"This was my 3rd stay at this property & honestly our family loves it here. It’s right in the city center and just after the lonavala khandala cut. One of the reasons we keep coming back is the mouth watering food. Esp at Fiori restaurant. The staff is exceptional & take good care of you. If you do not plan on eating all meals at the hotel then German bakery is just 1 km walking distance from the hotel & Markaiz restaurant is also close by. We absolutely loved the rooftop restaurant & the newly introduced Maharashtrian Thali on the menu. All in all its a great stay!"
