The Dukes Retreat

I am rating this hotel at 1 only because tripadvisor would not allow a rating of negative infinity. Extremely unprofessional hotel. Don't go. We have done a booking here from 18th to 20th May 2024. Sometime back I received an email from them saying that their hotel is undergoing renovation so they can't entertain our booking. They have also asked me to contact cleartrip regarding cancellation of my booking. Nothing in the world can be more unprofessional than this. What is the process of lodging complaint against this cheating? Don't ever go to this hotel. They are absolute cheaters. They are not even receiving my calls and not replying to my messages.

Terrible, ac not cooling, telecom not working, room service coming after 1 hour, room service guy not picking his mobile for long time. Lots of disturbance due to renovations. Pols avoid till work is complete.

Make my trip has not disclose about renovation going on and hotel doesn't had air-conditioned at par. Due to renovation limited choices were there for foods. Only staff were cooperating our trip was waste of time and money.

It was a pleasant stay at Dukes however they are going through a massive makeover which is why most amenities are not available. Having said that the staff and food was very good 👍extremely warm staff overall

We recently had the pleasure of staying at dukes retreat resort in khandala, maharashtra, from april 11th to april 13th, and it was truly a memorable experience for our family of three. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The spacious rooms provided us with ample space to relax and unwind, ensuring a comfortable stay for both adults and our energetic 5-year-old daughter. The courteous staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. One of the highlights for us was the excellent food served at the resort. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, offering a variety of dishes to suit every palate. The dining experience was truly a highlight of our trip. Moreover, the resort's play area for kids was a hit with our daughter, providing her with endless entertainment and opportunities to make new friends. Additionally, we appreciated the numerous nearby attractions, including a stunning sunset point, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Despite ongoing renovations at the property, we were pleasantly surprised by the minimal inconvenience thanks to the efficient ***agement by the staff. It's a testament to their dedication to ensuring a seamless experience for guests. In conclusion, our stay at dukes retreat resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm hospitality to the delicious food and ample amenities for families, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We who***eartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in the serene surroundings of khandala. We can't wait to return!

The stay was very nice. Polite staff and fast service. Just that the pool was closed that was the only drawback. But they are coming up with great amenities in future ms sh***n was up to the mark. Overall great experience

Hotel’s backside view is excellent. Swimming pool is big and good looking. Hotel is relatively old and under renovation. Waiters are seen courteous.

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights, and unfortunately, my overall experience was not satisfactory despite the polite and responsive staff. A significant portion of the resort, including several restaurants, was closed due to ongoing renovation work, causing disruption and noise within our room. Additionally, the passage areas outside the rooms were dusty. Our meal package required us to order a la carte, and on the first night, the food was overly salty, with the fish in the fish and chips dish being undercooked. We had to return these dishes. The breakfast was served at a restaurant near the gate, necessitating a long walk down a slope, as the buggy rides were infrequent and we had to walk on multiple occasions. On the day of check-in, we faced issues with charging our gadgets, and upon contacting housekeeping, they had to fix tripped switches. In conclusion, we did not feel we received value for the money spent. It would be more reasonable for the resort to reduce the tariff during the renovation period, considering the inconveniences guests have to endure.

We enjoyed the stay and the staff were courteous. Breakfast was also good.
