St Pancras Inn

The location is very good, five minutes away from King's Cross Station; the room is small, but the facilities are quite complete and the decoration is relatively new. There are even disposable toiletries and slippers (which are not available in ordinary British chain hotels); everything else is good The shortcomings are that the front desk service is average. You have to pay a deposit when you check in, and you have to check the room when you check out. There is no elevator. If you have large suitcases, it is not recommended because the stairs are extremely narrow.

The hotel is very well located, very well organized and extremely clean. For the price it proposes and the photos available, it delivers what it promises. Furthermore, the breakfast is pleasant and the staff is willing to help with any problems. Two things, however, left something to be desired on our visit. The rooms differ in size. My wife and I stayed in a relatively large room for the place, in which we were able to organize our bags comfortably, while my parents stayed in a room so cramped that they had to close their bags to walk around. The other thing that bothered me in general was the mix of smells in the hotel, especially in the morning (I don't know why), it was a smell of sweat mixed with a strange perfume. Other than these two things, it delivers as expected, we weren't expecting a 5 Star, as that's not what it promises, but for a hotel that you only “go to to sleep”, it's great and very comfortable.
