"I absolutely loved their cookies; I left in such a rush that I forgot to ask for more. We booked an executive room, which gave us access to the executive lounge on the ground floor – it was great for snacks and drinks. The room facilities were pretty good, and it was cleaned daily. The hotel's location is superb; you can walk to Tower Bridge right outside, and it's incredibly convenient to get to the subway station and the river for boat rides. It's about an hour by subway to Heathrow Airport. However, avoid the restaurant downstairs – we ate there twice and everything we ordered, including the more expensive steak, was terrible."
"Great one-night stay at Holiday Inn. The hotel is very close to Terminal 4—just a 5-minute walk—which makes it extremely convenient for early flights. It’s connected with the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
If you arrive at Terminal 2 or 3, you’ll need to take the underground metro to Terminal 4 to reach the hotel, which is straightforward. The breakfast was decent but fairly average. Overall, a comfortable and convenient option for a short stay near the airport."
"Everything was great, as always! It’s not my first time staying here, and I keep coming back for a reason. The room, bed, and pillows are super comfy, the staff are excellent and always do their best to accommodate requests when possible. Great breakfast and an overall lovely stay — highly recommend!"
"The hotel was at excellent location. Only 5 mins from cable car & 20 mins from Central London. Ideal for us as we were travelling to all the attractions. Hotel was clean & when we asked for additional heating we were provided. Thank you."
"The location is great— it’s right next to Oxford Street, with plenty of shops and restaurants, and very convenient access to buses and the underground, all within walking distance. The room was clean and well-maintained. The only minor downside is that it can be a bit noisy due to the busy street outside. Overall, I would still recommend this place for its location and convenience."
"This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in London for business. Given how expensive London can be, it's quite a large property, and the price definitely fits within our company's overseas expense policy. It's conveniently located, just a five to six-minute walk from the nearest tube station. The rooms are quite spacious for London standards, though they don't compare to a Hilton in China. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained, although the bathroom is on the smaller side. The front desk staff are really friendly, and there's a lovely festive atmosphere during the Christmas season. They also provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily."
"Visited in August, peak season. Given the central London location and the time of year, I can appreciate that prices are higher, so I somewhat understood the cost. HOWEVER, for a room costing on average 1500 RMB per night: it was small, outdated, and frankly, looked quite grubby. There was a strong, unpleasant plastic smell that greeted us upon entry and didn't dissipate even with the window cracked open for our entire four-night stay. The bed linen made me incredibly itchy all over, leaving me constantly scratching. To top it all off, at 1:30 AM, someone accidentally triggered the fire alarm, and the piercing siren blared throughout the building, prompting hundreds of guests to evacuate – certainly a dramatic and unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons) experience. Breakfast was quite varied, and the pool and gym facilities were adequate. But no matter how decent the public areas are, I'm staying in the ROOM! 😩 Absolutely NOT recommended!!!"
"Stayed here for one night. Check in was hectic. It was a busy period and check in could have been better organised, it looked like a coach trip had arrived causing big queues.
Room was in the smaller side but amenities were good and it looked as if the room had been refurbished recently. Breakfast is good and is organised well.
Location is perfect for exploring and getting around central London. Russell Square tube within a couple of mins walk."
"This was a great place for a short stay. The front desk staff were friendly, and essential amenities were provided. I was briefly concerned the window wasn't closing, but I managed to shut it myself. However, my only recommendation is to avoid eating at the hotel, as the meals are quite overpriced. The location is excellent, being close to a bus stop and a supermarket. While it's a bit removed from major attractions, it should be fine as long as there are no public transport disruptions like strikes."
"The hotel is very clean, well located with a nice British breakfast. Receptionists don't bother to acknowledge guests when arrive (any guest), rooms are very small but that's London, they were ok to be in. Ah btw people who works in the breakfast room were the best for the stay, super polite, smiling the whole and always willing to help, they really understand what hospitality field is for. I can recommend the place for short stays."

Great
AAlexaMy main complaint was only booking for one night. A hotel with stunning views, 1000 amenities and amazing service.
Upon arrival I was greeted with great service provided by the staff, who were all very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. On the ground floor you are greeted with amazing art work leading up to the escalators to reception, as well as a modernly designed lobby with plenty of seating and charging ports, and the restaurant/bar just on the left. The hotel was easy to navigate and had around 6 lifts which came very quickly and dropped us off to our 9th floor stop in around 30 seconds. Wow!
We had booked the King’s Suite for our stay which ended up exceeding our expectations - Stunning views from the window which stretches all across the living room, a record player with records provided - perfect for music lovers such as ourselves. Ironing board, A Dyson air-wrap & hair dryer (for the girls) and very artsy decorations overall which match the atmosphere of Shoreditch/Hoxton area. A cocktail making station & coffee machine with coffee pods as-well. We had also received a “milk delivery” at our door with fresh milk which was so lovely.
Spa access is included in the stay, a lovely heated pool which has stunning led lighted walls and calming frequency noises playing - to further play in to the relaxing atmosphere of the spa. Steam room and Sauna were also placed by the end of the spa which was nice. I loved it so much I woke up extra early the morning of check-out just to enjoy it one last time! And started my morning with a peaceful swim. However some people slowly started gathering around to do the same thing as well from around 9am, So I’d recommend the best time to be right after check-in (3-5pm) as it was completely empty and just refreshed. With all the pool towels reset and floor mopped clean.
And a 24-hour gym which I would definitely recommend to go to at night for a late night session, as it was empty and had stunning views of the city. There was a good amount of equipment - at least one or two of each machine & it was quite spacious too so didn’t feel crowded at all. With gym towels & Water cups provided as-well.
I do have a few very minor, nit-picky complaints, to mention. However I would like to say would not at all regard my overall positive experience of my stay and will to return :
From the Cocktail making station - the shaker was completely sealed shut - although it’s an item that’s airtight sealed and needed pressure to open we had tried EVERYTHING - and with so much effort my partner had cut himself trying to open it , also no strainer was provided so we had quite seedy cocktails.
Another minor issue was our milk frother
machine was not cleaned and was still dirty from the previous user, a small and fixable issue but should be pointed out in case someone’s craving a nice cup of coffee and pours milk into a dirty frothier without their knowledge.
And from the spa - the Sauna inhumanely hot - to a level that the stone floor was unable to step onto without slippers and wood seats unable to be sat on for longer than a second, whilst of course it’s a Sauna - the temperature was unbelievably high, at the max of the thermometer the wall. So was unusable for us.
Overall, The hotel was the best place we could’ve chosen for our couples get away staycation. We had enjoyed ourselves too much we ran out of time to visit the art gallery & bar. Guess we just have to rebook again, with a longer stay of course.
MMellichWe're a family of 4 with 2 young children and booked the studio. But when we arrived, we were told that the room had no electricity and so split us into 2 rooms instead.
While the rooms were generally clean, most of the bath towels had brown patches or old blood stains on them which was quite gross. 1 room that we were assigned to also had a weird fishy smell at the stove area.
The hotel is about 7 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and is located on quiet street. This is not a very pleasant area, and there were always shady characters around the tube station, which made us feel uncomfortable, so we tried not to stay out too late.
Staff were friendly and accommodating but they appeared short staffed during check in / check out timings. Only 2 staff on duty, so there is a bit of a wait if you need their help at these times.
GGuest UserWas well located near Illford station. Clean and well maintained. Value for money. Less budget hotel within East London not very far from Central London attractions in Elizabeth line
NNuonuo_8019This airport hotel has relatively spacious rooms. I was traveling with a friend. My child is an aviation enthusiast, so we specifically booked a runway view room (you can't see the runway from non-runway view rooms). It really proved perfect for plane spotting; it's right by the runway, offering completely unobstructed, first-person views of take-offs and landings.
Facilities: Some are a bit old, but perfectly acceptable.
Hygiene: Good, didn't find anything unclean.
Service: The front desk staff were quite welcoming and even proactively advised us on things to look out for when visiting Windsor.
0030309BlThe room size and facilities were pretty average. However, the surrounding area was quite nice, and it was super convenient to get to the River Thames. You can easily walk along the river to many attractions on both sides, so the location is definitely a big plus. London hotels are generally expensive, and the English breakfast was the same every day – don't expect it to be delicious, it's just enough to fill you up. I was traveling around the UK and took the train to Waterloo station; it was about a ten-minute easy, flat walk from there.
**Cleanliness**: It was great that the hotel staff came to clean and tidy the room every day.
Ssalaudin lunatHoliday inn Sutton 4*hotel. Close to local amenities shopping , eating. The hotel has Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, gym, and steam room. Excellent selection of breakfast (help yourself / buffet). Friendly staff at the hotel. Good public transport nearby. I high recommended Holiday Inn Sutton.
GGuest UserThe toilet was very small. I expected it to be small, but not this small. It's impossible to not wet the whole area of the sink for brushing my teeth n washing my face. They provided a small bar soap for hand washing but there were no place for the bar soap to properly dry after use.
There were no kettle, no cups, no tea/coffee provided. Just 2 small bottle of still water provided.
The only good thing is the bed is designed with floor space for u to store ur luggage away without blocking your path.
Asked if we could store 1 of our luggage with them as we will be coming back 4days later but were rejected and was told that they only store luggage till 6pm even though luggage storage was stated as free.

MMr. Alex2045This is London Central Hotel 10min walk to Hyde Park, to Paddington Station and just 2 subway stations to Oxford Street. GGuest UserBerjaya Eden is very near to Queensway and Bayswater station. You'll need to carry your luggage up some stairs, but it's manageable. Alternatively drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to/from Paddington station. Hotel is in a student and touristy area near to Kensington and Hyde Parks. You can walk to Portobello street (Notting Hill movie) and even Holland Park.
Rooms are serviced by an old elevator which can accommodate 2 persons with luggage. Checking in was easy and you have to pay a refundable £50 deposit. The manager helped us with our heavy luggage when he saw us approaching the hotel entrance. Our original room was located quite a distance from the lift. He gave us a room near the lift without our asking. We didn't get to thank him as he had some matter to attend to. Room was clean with comfortable bed. A tower type fan provided as there's no aircon. Won't be adequate during the summer months. Shower area was good enough for us but larger guests will find it crammed. Hot water was instantaneous and easily controlled.
Buffet breakfast starts from 8am and it's Malaysian and Continental. The restaurant is called Med (Mat) Salleh and run by two Malaysian ladies from Ipoh. The Malaysian breakfast was good especially the fried chicken wings. You get all the 3 parts of the wing instead of just the drumlet served elsewhere. Yummy! Restaurant is popular with Malaysian tourists and government/business persons. Malaysian Royalty have even visited Med Salleh restaurant.
There are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets near the hotel. You won't go hungry except your wallet will be lighter if your currency is much lower than the British Pound.
Checking out was just as easy and the deposit refunded to your credit card on the same day. You can also leave your luggage if you still have time before catching the train to Heathrow or elsewhere. You can catch the train to Heathrow from Paddington via Elizabeth Line or the TFL Line. Elizabeth Line cost more but is more comfortable, less stops and with enough space for your luggage.
