Oliver Hotel

Hotel needs updating. Shower over bath and goes from boiling to cold and then stops. Rooms are small and could do with a up date. But for the money it is worth it. It is very handy to tube station. Breakfast is plentiful. Staff are fantastic and very helpful. Towels get changed every 3rd day

This is a budget hotel and pretty run down, but it is in a great location, only 5 minutes walk to the subway. The breakfast is surprisingly good.

We arrived after midnight, causing it to be much too late to do anything about our room. There were dirty towels in our closet and dirty spills down the wall. The front desk said nothing when we. Roughy them the dirty towels. When leaving in the am for breakfast, we found that we had to surrender our key anytime we left the building. Upon return, we found the staff had been in our room to remove a stool. That would have been ok, except, they then knocked and opened our door to gain entry even though we said no. They just wanted to return the stool was the excuse, and proceeded to barge in. This hotel has a NO REFUNDS policy. We left after one night and found a very nice hotel elsewhere. When reaching out to the staff about the filth and interruptions, they said, “we were just trying to return a stool.” They then said to reach out to our booking agent. The lack of disregard for their patrons was amazing. I would give negative stars if I could. DO NOT STAY at HOTEL OLIVER.
