(1) The superior room which had been allocated to my mother-in-law was inappropriate and unsafe especially for a 90 year old lady. She experienced difficulty breathing in the airtight loft room, and the staircase was dangerous. She asked for the room to be changed, and was moved to a standard room (but only £15 discount was offered). (2) When I made the booking by phone, I said that I have registered my mother-in-law to become a member of the star hotels group. I was told on the telephone that, once at the hotel, if we mention this, we should be entitled to receive the membership discount. However, this was refused when arrived at the hotel. (3) My mother-in-law also told me that the plug in the room didn't work and the taps were difficult to operate.
