Very good location for visiting Excel London, very basic room, no fridge in the room. Food were not great my husband was poorly after had meatball dish, so he wasn't sleep all night. I don't want to complain just for your information. Breakfast is OK, staff morning shift very helpful and service mind if compare with the lady night shift.

For a budget hotel like this, I think it’s acceptable. You can’t expect any high quality food or good amenities coz this is what it’s designed for.

Considering the price paid (326 gbp for a two night stay) I did expect NOT to have to pay for both parking and WIFI! The room was ok but was on ground level and so having the curtains open was not an option and it was noisy late at night and early in the morning as customers arrived and left the hotel. We won't be staying again.

There's no indication that there's no aircon in the rooms, until i read reviews on tripadvisor. Im here in the summer, and the room is really warm at night. The window gap is small theres no way the breeze outside can penetrate much into the room. I woke up several times at night due to the heat. Terrible stay. No microwave oven to heat up food, n cafe is close n i had to go to holiday inn to buy breakfast every morning. What a shame. Also, i got bugs bite at night too. A very basic hotel.

Away from the downtown, cost-effective, great experience

The front desk service is polite and attentive! Although the language is not fluent in communication, but the query route is patiently answered, and I also found a map for us, which is very good! Close to London City Airport, there will be a little noise when the windows are open, but it is acceptable!

Will choose here next time.

In 7 days, they didn't take out garbage or vacuum. I had problems with the key every day. No air conditioning, bathroom floods because of the curtain. Paid WiFi.

The hotel is clean and tidy, and the front desk and staff are friendly and responsible!

María and Roy went out of their way to ensure my daughter and I had a great Mother's Day weekend together! We were upgraded to a family room so that we didn’t have to share a bed. Big plus for my teenager!

Abi and safae have been amazing I’ve been staying here for a long time now and hounesly those staff have the best service and always attend to me cause I’m quite old so sometimes I struggle to do things on my phone but they always help please reward them thank you 5 star service at reception.

It’s been a long while since I visited this place but I stopped for a night this week and was impressed. Parking is a bit steep at £10 for the night but to be expected as most London hotels are charging nowadays. Room was clean and tidy and very spacious. I ate in the restaurant and the food was decent. Good prices for both food but the drink was nearly £7 a pint. Ideal location if visiting the Excel which is only a 5 minute walk away.

CJ at reception provided a truly delightful welcome, displaying exceptional first-contact communication skills that elevated my stay from the moment I arrived. CJ's politeness and helpfulness were particularly appreciated after a lengthy drive into London, reflecting a commitment to first-class customer service.

Hotel was up to the usual Travelodge standards. Just 2 flaws - 1) if you're staying for more than 1 night and want your room cleaned you need to ask (apparently they only clean every 3 days). 2) you are overlooked by other hotels and there are no nets meaning we had to close our curtains and keep lights on for most of the time we spent in the room, not good.
