The County

Cheap hotel but do a job in city centre. I am staying there quite often. Sink in the room is very handy for face and teeth washing . Very good location next to Euston station.

I have stayed at the County Hotel many times, but due to the hotel not providing en suite facilities, I only stayed one or two nights. However I won't be staying at the hotel anymore, I have decided that I now want to stay in a hotel, that provides en suite facilities Furthermore the hotel does not provide breakfasts and evening meals, I was told that they stopped cooking food, during the covid outbreak and they have decided not provide food anymore. This is another reason why I won't stay at the hotel anymore. I have to say that the 'checkin' and 'checkout' staff are very friendly and helpful. I will always recommend the County Hotel, to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel, is only staying for one or two nights and is happy to stay there, once I've told them that the hotel, no longer provides food. Best location but the hotel was cold and noisy

We booked a room for an overnight stay to help with travel. The one positive thing I can say is that its location made finding a much better hotel nearby very easy. Upon arrival we were given a key to a cramped room with a single bed (we booked a double). To their credit, they provided us with the room we requested after a short wait. The room stank of cigarettes, the window didn't fully close, the sheets were dirty. The shared bathrooms are cleaned once every morning, and from the state of everything else I don't imagine they're cleaned particularly well. While this hotel is very cheap and in a good location, I wouldn't stay there for free. We left the room and stayed at another hotel nearby.

Actually went in Nov 2022 shortly before it closed for a full refurbishment. It was always very basic and over last few years became poorly maintained but it was a cheap option and central to Euston or Kings Cross. Be interested to see when its opened again and in what guise or price structure.

Old building with so many shortcomings, complete lack of modernization... it's like it hasn't been renovated in 30-40 years. More than cold room, no window insulation, torn curtains, used bed mattress, old carpet that is no longer suitable for cleaning, TV from the 80s, the entire condition of the hotel is about the 80s, but a dilapidated version of it. The only thing was good, that it was near to several underground and was easy to reach many places in London.
