Lancaster Gate Hyde Park by London Hotel Collection

We stayed at the Royal Lancaster for one night on Saturday. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - their friendliness and attention to detail was second to none. It is so evident how much they enjoy their work as they do everything with a smile - NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, was too much trouble! This was our 29-year wedding anniversary and, from the minute we checked in, we were treated like VIPs. Thanks to Vincent, we enjoyed a complimentary cocktail soon after check-in, which was made to perfection. We had dinner in the Thai restaurant and, once again, enjoyed a complimentary glass of champagne. The food was scrumptious! The hotel is spotlessly clean, we were allocated a room on the 12th floor with the most wonderful views of Hyde Park. There is such a positive energy in this hotel, brought about not least by those that work there. Our overall experience was magical and I cannot thank the staff enough. We will return!

We purposely chose The Hyde because it offered a vegan high tea. The whole experience was under whelming - the sandwich bread was super market quality and filled with sp**** salad items - no attempt to provide any vegan plant based non meat substitutes. The deserts were similar. The service was poor and not in any how represented on Red Letter marketing. We would not recommend it to anyone as it was no more than ‘school dinner’ quality or taste. Simply not good enough with cost bearing no relevance to what was served.

Not quite as advertised. Unbearable smell in the master suite and hallway. Kitchen cooking utensils should be replaced. Not a single drinking glass available. Cracked floor tiles in the hallway and in dining area. We stayed in the basement unit, other units might be better maintained. Do check before accepting the unit.

Beautiful apartment. Spacious, well furnished, smart TV in the bedroom and living room and both are big. Loved the pressure of the shower, couch was comfy. Location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood yet a short walk away to Oxford st, paddington and pretty much across the street from the park. I experienced a few challenges refrigerator not working well but the Manager i was fortunate to deal with was extremely responsive, polite, she was eager to help and go above and beyond. Excellent customer experience. Excellent ***** The only let down for the entire trip was the cleaning. The cleaner sadly gets a 2 over 10 as she never changed sheets or towels unless you actually kept an eye on her. No dusting, washing of bath, sanitizing etc but management is now aware and on it. This place is going into my favorites folder for sure. I loved it!! ......so if price is right, i will always stay here.

Great location and could be a fabulous apartment but it needs renovating. Furniture is new and comfortable but the paint is peeling off the windows and door handles are just hanging on. If you can look past this it is a great place to stay

It was noisy

The bed is comfy and the bathroom is small but it is still good.😊😊😊😊😊😊😃😃😃😃😃😃😫😫😫😫☺️☺️☺️☺️😂😂😂😂 I love the pillows. The television is small but I can still watch my favourite show. There is a telephone which is handy. I love the pic on the wall cause of the colours.
