This hotel used to be four season but now a different group, it is Really need to update all the facilities including the bed, tv and all kinds of toilets equipment, it is 10 yeas ago but in real 2023

The service of the hotel is very good, but the facilities are a bit old. It is very close to the financial center and a few hundred meters away. Generally speaking, it is definitely not as convenient as staying in the city center, but at this price in London, the price/performance ratio is not bad

I came in for a coffee this morning as I was passing by. After 30 minutes I was approached by 2 unprofessional, rude, who used physical violence to ask me to leave the hotel. I’ve ordered a coffee and was sitting down on a chair. One of the securities name Ian (at least that’s what he said his name was) grabbed my bag and came into distance very close 5cm telling me to be careful or something bad will happen to me if I don’t leave. I did not do anything, I did not get up from the table nor approach staff, guests or whatsoever. The other security grabbed my jacked and dropped all my money from my inside pocket along with my headphones box (which I then after leaving asked to have it given back to me) this happened in front of the eyes of the staff of Bayer Leverkusen Football team, who decided to stay there for their game against West Ham. The securities used inappropriate language( get the *uck out or something bad will happen to you right now). When I’ve asked for my money back for the coffee which I did not even finish, the security named Ian came to me and brought me cash saying we do not do card refunds, take your cash or see what will happen to you. One of the Bayer Leverkusen staff lady looked at me and asked me if I was okay. Will never return to this hotel. I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!

Perfect for a weekend get away. Great service and all the staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. The rooms were fantastic and clean with some spectacular views of the Thames. Lovely location for walks and shopping. Spa treatments were also incredible.

Amazing, real 5 star hotel with 5 star service. Would recommend. Food was great, spa is nice and the tubs are fabulous. The hotel room was great, and the view of the city spectacular. The best service I’ve had on this trip to London, an exception to UK’s service standards.

The hotel was in a great location for our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and could not do enough for you….. the hotel was lovely and clean with a spacious room and a fabulous view over the Thames and London. A very impressive breakfast selection.

Best service ever by Samarth, Joseph and Mohammad. Samarth made sure he organised the most amazing massage - went above and beyond trying to make things happen despite Easter. He is extremely professional, and cares about the customer. I’m very impressed by the service and hospitality. Made sure we were well looked after! A massive thank you to Joseph! What a brilliant and quality professional! Joseph at reception is absolutely incredible and ensures a high quality of service. Very customer centric and detail oriented.. Looking forward to our next visit and to seeing Joseph - incredible energy and smile! A massive thank you to Mohammad! He was highly attentive, professional and excellent attention to detail. In general, the hotel facilities, lunch and the spa (a Virgin Active) were thoroughly enjoyable and I have a wonderful day. However, I found myself greeted with a subtle yet unmistakable reminder of the persistent challenge of gender inequality. Despite the booking clearly stating my name, it seemed that my presence was overshadowed by the assumption that my male friend accompanying me held a superior status. The scenario unfolded during the check-out process - the hotel staff of Asian origin, directed their attention towards my male friend, automatically assuming that he was the primary figure in our arrangement. With a quick glance at him, they altered the honorific and changed it to the male version of my given name, a blatant disregard for my presence and identity. I felt a surge of frustration and disappointment at the ingrained biases that continue to permeate our society, even in seemingly trivial interactions. Despite strides towards gender equality, such instances serve as poignant reminders of the work that remains to be done. Politely but firmly, I corrected the staff, emphasising that the booking was made under my name and that I was indeed paying for the use of the hotel and the spa. Though met with initial surprise, they swiftly rectified their mistake, acknowledging my presence and addressing me directly. I was able to enjoy my day at the spa, but the experience left an indelible mark, reinforcing my commitment to championing gender equality and challenging societal norms that perpetuate discrimination based on gender.

We booked this hotel some time ago for New Years Eve and was quite surprised that there was nothing in place entertainment wise for such an occasion. However, we went along and were greeted by excellent reception staff who said that as our rooms were ready we could check in early. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean with bathrobes and slippers available and a lovely touch leaving brownies with strawberries on the side. We used the spa facilities adjacent to the hotel which were superb and we had a lovely time. We then went for drinks in the hotel bar before we headed out for lunch. The bar was a little disappointing as I think there were new members of staff who didn’t understand very good English so hotel guests were struggling to get drinks. I asked for wine and she had to bring the drinks menu over to me so I could point out what I wanted. A manager then came along who was excellent and was guiding her as to what to do. New staff obviously need to be trained so that’s not a problem in itself but, probably not best to do this on such a significant date as New Years Eve. The overall hotel stay was lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough for you however, I agree with the reviews, the breakfast was terrible. Luke warm food, which didn’t seem to be particularly good quality, no milk on the table, couldn’t make some of the staff understand what we needed and had to repeatedly ask for everything. Coffee was poured for my husband and the coffee pot left on the table which was actually leaking and made a terrible mess. The quality and variety of the food was not up to standard for a 5 star hotel. We had a lovely New Years Eve but a tip for the hotel, staff need better training and your breakfast needs to massively improve as it is nowhere near where a 5 star hotels breakfast should be.
