Super friendly staff who were very welcoming. The room was lovely with everything you need for a nights stay. Bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean and tidy. I would use it again when staying in that area.

I would never recommend Rail Nijna to anyone. We are fairly experienced travelers and this was by far the worst experience we have had. First, I purchased first class tickets and was issued 2nd class. When contacted they did make a refund for their mistake and then they allowed for 9 minutes to change trains in Geneva which did not account for going through customs and getting to the proper platform. We obviously missed the train and had to pay for new tickets and spend the night in Geneva. They would not refund the money spent on the original tickets. The agent in the Station said that Rail Nija did not allow for any time to change trains and recommended to never use a third party for booking. A very unpleasant and expensive experience.

This is a absolute gem of a guesthouse and pub. The staff are really friendly . A lovely lady called Natalie showed us to our room and made us feel very welcome, there is always something going on the the main bar and she said we where more than welcome to join in. The half crown bar next door ( this is the sister pub ) is a real find lots of dark wood chilled atmos a very pleasant place to spend an evening. We will definitely be back when we visit London again. Thank you to all the staff.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were a nice size and well equipped. Other people have left feed back about the noise from outside. We did here a little but it never stopped us sleeping. This guesthouse is not in the Country, it's on a main road! The staff we encountered were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the atmosphere overall, staff was friendly, the room was clean, just quite small and no elevators for moving luggage. It was also a little out of the way for our purposes

We stayed at The Crown Pub & Guesthouse due to my sister being hospitalized close by. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for. Serena and her staff are genuine people who truly care about hospitality. A great example of this is Natalie helping us take our bags upstairs even though it was her day off and she was a patron. We had a lot of bags! They went above and beyond in their flexibility of our needs and extending our stay. They asked us daily about my sister’s progress and were heartfelt in their interest. The patrons of the pub are also kind and welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed. I was sad to leave as it felt like I was leaving friends. I hope to come back just to stay here again with these beautiful humans. Do yourself a favor and stay here, enjoy a pint in the pub, partake in some karaoke and get to know them. It’ll be a decision you won’t regret. Remember, this is a pub and guesthouse….it’s in the name! Expect to walk into the pub and go through a door to go upstairs to get into the guesthouse. There is no lift so also be mindful of that. Be kind to them as they do really care about every single person who walks through their doors. They want their guests to be happy and enjoy their stay.

Friendly staff, smooth check in. I liked my room which was big and cosy on the top floor. The big bed was clean and comfortable and I had the best sleep, I miss it !. Nice decor. There was complimentary tea coffee biscuits and water which I enjoyed. There is storage space, bedside tables, cupboard with drawer. Might need more hangers, I'm sure you could ask. Ensuite bathroom is nice. Shower cubicle is big enough for comfort. Nice shower gel and shampoo provided and hairdryer. Perfect location for my needs with bus stop practically right outside. Staff are helpful, I didn't have enough bathroom supplies on arrival and they sorted it out. I managed to open the window on the warm day and they said they were fixing it. I liked being on the top floor as it was cosy and quiet. However, I am not very fit so going up the stairs was a workout. A soap would be nice in bathroom , I used the shower gel. You can request a room service during your stay. Water pressure meant the shower went off one day but it wasn't long before it came on again and it was lovely hot water. Towels provided. There are shops nearby which is very handy. All in all this place was perfect for my needs and reasonable and so close to the transport I needed. My room was nice , comfortable and relaxing, the staff so friendly and helpful and the best sleep ever!

I messaged the guesthouse several times before our stay to ask for early check in at midday as hubby works nights & unexpectedly had to work the night before meaning he’d had no sleep. No response. When we arrived a staff member said it would be £20 for early check in. She then spoke with the housekeeper & said it’s ok because as it happens she’s cleaning our room now anyway. So we bought some drinks from the bar whilst we waited, paying a different member of staff. When the original lady came back she came and asked us for the £20! And all for nothing as hubby got no sleep anyway as there were 2 very heavy and noisy fire doors right outside our room which were constantly banging day and night. We were also opposite the cleaning cupboard and the housekeeper and other staff having very loud conversations with no thought to the guests. We could hear everything from the room above with constant banging and loud TV. Even the plumbing screamed at me for the entire time I was showering! Bed was clean and comfortable but the room has seen better days. Dirty carpet with a big iron burn mark. Dirty towel rail and we couldn’t use the TV as the remove control was sticky & covered in gunk! Big spiders webs on the table and chairs so I couldn’t sit on the terrace which was the main reason I picked the room. We came back at 11.30pm on Friday the pub was full so thought we’d have a drink but we were shouted at by staff memberto use the other entrance and go to our rooms! Not a great stay.
