Normandie Hotel

The NOISIEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. You can hear all residents coming and going and every step they take! Such a creaky old hotel. Didn’t feel very safe with the tiny door lock (as a single female business resident). The bed was thin and uncomfy. The plug sockets are on the other side of the room. The shower was tiny too. Would never stay again and do not recommend.

good hotel limited staff atfront desk sometimes nobody.Cant understand whey they placed me 6 floors upstaire.There were no occupation on lower floors.My only interaction with staff was the cleaner.

Dirty and unfresh. Unapproachable personal and zero service. The whole family got scabies and sick afterwardsa so that we had to seek the hospital. Not recommend at all. Worst hotel ever which is also not contactable in any way for anything.

It almost took an hour to check in. There wasn’t a receptionist (there wasn’t the Hole trip). We’d to call a number, and eventually we could check in. The cleaning standard wasn’t good enough either, and it was incredible dusty. The worst part was the bathroom, as the toilet couldn’t flush and the shower was boiling hot, and the tap to the cold water was broke. Next day we tried to get a new room, but because there wasn’t a person in the reception, we’d to call. Eventually we got trough, but it was difficult communication. On New Years Day (our third day), we contacted their cleaning lady, and she was the only helpful person, and we got a new room in the basement for our last night. I can’t recommend this hotel whatsoever. When we tried to check-in, we went to another hotel, and they said ‘there’s always problems at Normandie Hotel’. I’ve stayed at other budget hotels in London, but never expected anything like that. Abysmal!
