由於某些原因,需要再延長几天,經與前台溝通,非常平滑辦理了入住手續,還是原房間。酒店周邊還是非常方便的

We were attending a gig in The Roundhouse in Camden and this hotel is just a short walk from the venue so it was pretty ideal, it's also only a 3 min walk from Belsize Park Tube. The room was small but spotlessly clean yet there is room for a mini kitchen (Including toaster, hob and microwave) in the room. The shower was excellent, great water pressure. For the price and location it was really very good and I'll definitely be checking availability again if I'm returning to the Camden area.

There are some really bad reviews recently, I'm guessing it has something to do with the ongoing renovations. As you'll probably be reading this after the renovation is done I'll give you my perspective from a newly renovated room. It's really really nice. I was on floor 3 which is a bit of a hike with no lift, but still OK. The room was clean, not very big but pretty good by most London standards. Definitely bigger than the Jury's inn near Liverpool Street stn. Nice modern lighting, air conditioning and decor. The bathroom was amazing with a new shower encosure and twin shower heads. There was a small closet next to the bed with a small ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Underneath this is a programmable safe. The plug sockets have USB charging built in. There's a large Samsung tv on the wall. Here's the best bit. What I thought was a closet was a compact kitchen! Sink, microwave, twin induction hob, fridge, coffeemaker with coffee, tea etc. Now I know that's what is included here I'll definitely be back. I'd be quite happy cooking up stuff than dining out. Location wise it's about 100yds from Belsize Park underground and less that 10 minutes walk from Chalk Farm. There are several small shops, cafes and a chemist around Belsize Park underground. There's 24 hour reception with secure entry and the receptionist was super friendly and efficient. There did seem to be some issues with people not having ID on them. This is new to me, but because we flew in from Glasgow we had photo ID anyway. Its worth pointing out you will need it.

Hotel? No It's a filthy Hostel. No lift, narrow steep stairs to your room, be prepared as its 37 stairs to just the 2nd floor. The stairs themselves are covered in plaster dust and paint dust because they're sanding the walls because they are currently under construction. The rooms are disgusting, I call it a sweat box. The room was not a double whatsoever. A queen size bed with 10 inch walk space around it. No chair and desk? Vanity area to get ready. Hairdryer hard wired in to a tiny cupboard with a mirror in it and clothes rail, approximately 10 inches wide, so with regards to getting ready you have the same issues in the too small bathroom. Corner shower you have to navigate around to shut the toilet door and sit on the ill fitting toilet seat as they put the toilet to close to the wall. There were no toilet rolls, no shower gel, there was no coffee & Tea. There was Snot wiped on the walls and water from a faulty Tassimo machine left for us to clean up. Upon wiping the water off the floor the bat matt we used was Black with filth off the floor. This room is a Hazard there's no way a normal sized human could walk around it, it was walk sideways and bang your legs on the 90 angle wooden cheaply built frame the mattress sits on. I have never written a bad review ever but this place warrants all people thinking of booking here to RUN! Staff rude hotel filthy, keep your money and go to a B&B it'll seem 5* after that Hovel.

Unless something really upsets me or the place being review has failed miserably in easy or little things that shouldn't be missed, i wouldn't feel comfortable doing a negative review as i know how much it can negatively affect a business. With this one, it really disappointed and i believe the owners of any establishment cannot expect to take money of a guest, and present them with a very unclean room. If you are refurbishing the place, please don't expect to run it at full capacity or charging normal rates when all you are providing is a bed in a construction site really. I am no business advisor, but don't think a degree is needed to know that you shouldn't place guests next door to a room that is being drilled from 8am until 4 or 5pm, knowing the thickness of those walls are as thin as your consideration to your guests. And the idea that if you are in London, you should be awake by 8am, is just wrong. An hotel room should provide comfort and i should be allowed to sleep until 10am if i want too as i was charged for the day not the hour and the noise wasn't from nature, traffic, or being in London, was caused by the hotel itself. It felt like, by charging 20£ less than other hotels in the area, they think they have the right to ignore the basics of cleaning. When you are a paying guest, regardless of it being £60 or £600, cleanliness shouldn't be compromised. Lucky are those that reviewed the place as being clean, you were lucky, very lucky, or booked a room that come with cleaning included, because ours, hasn't seen a cloth for a while. and it seems to be a common review so does someone from the company actually look at their reviews and try to improve? I guess they rely on one time only guests, because surely they cant rely on returning ones. Or some of us were simply unlucky, with our rooms. Small room? Sure. Less facilities? Of course. You cannot justify having certain things for what you pay. BUT you ARE PAYING and, there are things that should meet a minimum standard and CLEANLINESS is definitely one of them and at this, this hotel failed miserably. When we first arrived in the room, we were greeted by the workers next door drilling away, and the lights in our room not working. Went to reception and told the lady on the desk about the issue, she promptly followed me and got in the room in a rush, turning the switches on and off (as if i wouldn't know how to use a light switch). She then confirmed by herself that i was indeed right, and it was the lights not working and not my lack of understanding in light switching that was the issue, she knocked on next door (bang bang quarters) and spoke to them and they eventually checked the main board and got it working. The owner has to be prepared for this when renovating as well as making guest aware that refurbishment is heavily present in their stay. I am no expert in the dusting area, so i cannot say how many days old is that dust or the origin of it, if is low dust or what, the place wasn't

Clearly this hotel is a work in progress with building work still ongoing to improve the hotel. Not a problem at all for us as we were there for only 1 night at the weekend. I wasn't sure about leaving a review after a 1 night stay but having seen some very harsh reviews for this hotel I wanted to balance out these views. This hotel was the best value I could find esp on marathon Weekend and we wouldn't have been able to enjoy our weekend with family without rushing home without it. Sometimes expectations are too high. Our room was warm, clean and they let us check in a few mins early as transport was kind to us. Location is brilliant as we were visiting city centre day one then wanted to visit Camden day 2 which we could walk to from here. We would stay again as it was all we needed. A roof, a bed. Sometimes you get what you pay for and it was perfectly fine. Thank you. Without some of these smaller hostel type hotels some of us would have nowhere to stay. I also noted building work and lack of food facilities mentioned when booking it was not a suprise to us.

Whilst the hotel was fine for what we needed and a short walk to Camden, the receptionist was so rude, apparently you need ID to get your room key, why would I have my ID! She refused entry to us without it, When I asked what I was supposed to do when I’m 2 hours from home she shrugged her shoulders, luckily I was able to get someone to send me a copy of my ID but with all the GDPR guidelines I’m really sure this is not legal that this woman now has my ID details that I didn’t want to share, it is not visible on the booking details that you need ID, I’ve stayed in Nox hotels before and not needed ID but won’t be rushing back when they employ rude staff

receptionist was really weirdly arrogant and condescending for someone working in such a dump. didn’t feel safe, very uncomfortable tiny room, felt dirty, really difficult for two people to get ready. photos must be really really old, would not recommend.

I booked Online Reservations with NOX Hotel Belsize Park London. The last week of January 2024. It was being Refurbished when I arrived. The Website did not inform me about the Building work. Noisy building work. AVOID Lower Ground Floor Basement Room LG103. Lift up the Matress. It is Filthy. Dirty Sheets. The Female Receptionist with very long hair should be Trained in Customer Service skills. She was only interested in taking the Money. Not interested in Customer Satisfaction. Overpriced Rooms.
