You need to go next door to check in, no lift. Breakfast is fine and the gentlemen at the reception is helpful and friendly.

The location is great. Service good. The room was very small but bathroom decent size. It was a bit cold at night. But for the price paid it was still worth it.

Good location. Train workers were on strike, so we booked it for one night, which was good.

It's right next to UCL, opposite Water Stone, not far from the subway station, and very close to the British Museum. And it has a very typical British-style small building feel, just like in a British drama. Breakfast is also great, a typical Caucasian meal, and the most important thing is a hot meal.

Being a boss is very enthusiastic. Hotel clean and tidy breakfast. not bad. Well, the transportation is very convenient. Very close to both the train station and the airplane station. Oxford Street is a 15 minute walk.

One of the most awful places I've ever been to. The room is literally so small, you can only open the suitcase on the bed. You can't open the window. Only one socket in the room. Everything's run down. The bed is very uncomfortable. Breakfast is just terrible. Don't go there!

The room is the size of a shoe box and for the amount you pay it isn’t sufficient. I understand it’s ‘London prices’ but I could barely move around in my room. As a result I noticed the carpet needed a really good hoover and clean. Good points: the continental breakfast was yummy and there was nice coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is really close to the British museum and you can easily walk into the centre and explore. In the end the benefits outweighed the downside. Thank you.

The hotel has minimum staffing and couples up with the hotel next door which at first was daunting. However the breakfast was laid out, the room was clean and the facilities were good for my requirements. Excellent location and a well functioning hotel. Some of the decor is tired particularly the carpets but generally a good hotel.

My stay was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. The bed was literally a baby cot, completely insane, unfit and unjust for an adult guest. The room: oppressively tiny with poor ergonomics. I’m no giant but I could find leg room to do my toilet business. Ditto the shower cubicle. I stayed a whooping 10 days without a key to my room (the lock was down throughout and I had to 100% depend on the front office for access). For the price - it’s a mismatch - no value for money. What’s on the website is not what’s on site. #BuyerBeware

Easy to find, short distance from underground and short walk to the theatre. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room adequate for 2 night stay.

Where do I start, booked this hotel back in October 2022 when the dates of the king’s coronation was announced, hotel looked ok from the website so didn’t think to much about it, arrived early on day of check in room wasn’t ready so we asked if we could put our cases in the luggage room, no luggage room… was told to leave them in reception area and they put a sticker with our names on them. We asked where the toilets were to be directed to the basement with 1 tiny toilet for both men and women, not very clean, cleaning products on window cill and a towel over a hook on toilet door! We went to explore on returning to the hotel to check in we were told our room was in the basement LG2, our room was next door to the breakfast room, the walls so thin we could hear other holiday makers spoons scrape their bowls from 7 am each morning and chatting to each other. The room was not good at all, cobwebs around the windows, mould on the walls, glass in the bathroom door giving you no privacy whatsoever, no sockets by the beds, they had resurfaced the bedside tables and dressing table with faux leather stapled on omg it was horrendous, no air-con room was ridiculously hot couldn’t leave window open as in basement at front of property, stairs to Main Street that gate was not locked, yard filthy with rubbish, cigarette ends, bottles, broken pieces of wood we were worried someone would try get through the window while we slept or rodents could get in, I did speak to reception to be told if we didn’t like it they could refund us and find another hotel, as if that was possibly when all hotels fully booked for coronation. I would never return to this hotel and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, this hotel has no bar and no atmosphere, avoid at all costs!

Find for a place to stay for the basic necessities, in a good position. Nice that breakfast was included in the price, it’s basic but good added value. My room was a single room, single bed, and after the first night I was feeling very itchy. Asked them to do a deep clean of the room and was much better the other nights.

We booked a double room. The bed was only 117cm wide, absolutely not enough for 2 people. When we complained, the receptionist refused to help us, because the hotel was fully booked-she said, but she promised us that from the next day they will have bigger room, just ask for it from her collegue. Of course we did, but we got the same answer... As we are not a couple, one of is needed to sleep on the floor... The staff was absolutely not helpful. The toilet was dirty and stucked, the basin was broken. The breakfast is very poor, fully vegetarian, no hot meals. The coffee is awful. Absolutely disappointing.

friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast was perfect - stayed overnight with 2 colleagues, easy to find, and a central location just a 5 min walk from the station. the rooms were warm, with extra pillows and towels.

Centre location and cosy house. Friendly staff. When we arrived the window could not close. Bed just under window, so we could have become sick. It took 2 staff-visits in the room to find way to close the window and shut the freezing cold wind out. We found a toe-nail in the bed-linen...
