Nice place to stay

I was hesitant to stay here because I thought somewhere so cheap would have a hostel vibe and I just wasn’t sure about it! The place was brilliant. My sister and I stayed in the cheapest room, which was on the LG floor with no window. The bed was huge, we slept so so well and didn’t spend the night kicking each other or jolting each other awake. There was a desk, a small place to hang clothes and a clean, spacious bathroom. The bed frame had plugs in it and you could control all the lights FROM THE BED, which was a great touch. Check in and check out we’re super easy - didn’t have to talk to any staff, just used the machine. Honestly, thoroughly recommend. I’m staying again on Friday!

Nice hotel but was not given the room I booked - given a room without a window when I booked and paid for a room with window - made a difference. When I queried this I was effectively told it was my mistake.

We liked the hotel and it’s no frills concept. Our double room was spacious and modern with a well integrated bathroom pod. The staff were friendly and helpful with good tips and a great attitude. The only thing that let the whole process down were the self checkin / checkout screens which did not work very well and only sporadically. Breakfast was not just continental as described but also featured a full English fry up.

Great location , easy check in, very comfy and large beds, the only negatives were : really thin walls , you could here what your neighbours from behind the wall were up to and the cleaners were very loud talking between each other in the morning .

Absolutely disgusting staff at the front desk we have requested early check-in it does not Estate that it is a cashless establishment they called us over to start the process of checking us in when it got to the realisation we had cash for our early check-in they refused even knowing that we are desperate because, I have come on my monthly they told me to go into the restaurant bathroom to clean up and wait two hours for checking I was destroyed I felt I had no option to go into the bathroom but furthermore bathroom are shared with males which I didn't realize until a man came in lucky enough I started crying right now the man came out and finally lock on my side it was the manager who was unaware of the situation even though I had asked a girls to go and call them manager and ask him I was immediately checked in thank you so much to the manager

Check-in and check-out were fully automated and easy, and the bar receptionist was also kind. It was helpful that they provided a carafe of water every day. It was a new hotel and the facilities were clean. If I had to point out one disappointing point, it would be that the room was a little dark because there was no light to illuminate the entire room, and when I used the free coffee service in the hallway, the coffee maker was broken and I could only get weak coffee. However, considering the average accommodation cost in London, it is still reasonably priced, so I think it is within an acceptable range.

The location and surroundings are okay. The room size is okay, with two tables and mineral water. There are no trash cans or disposable slippers in the room. The front desk is located together with the bar, and is often empty and noisy. Signs indicating room numbers, front desk, etc. are erroneously oriented. One of the light switch buttons in the room was broken. The bathroom door was also half broken and it took a lot of effort to close it. The shower area doesn't have a water-blocking edge that separates it from other areas. If you shower for more than ten minutes, water will flow everywhere... and there isn't even a hook to hang clothes in the bathroom. Overall, the price/performance ratio is passable.

Very Nice Hotel, room very clean and confortable, very large considering you are in London! Zone well provided by public transportation, Aldagate East just 3 minutes walking Staff young and very kind!

We had a room on the basement floor with no windows. It wasnt the best. I can live with no windows but i do need light. Only lights available were in the bathroom and bedside no other lights. Looking at the bed frame surrond the loose wire suggests there was additional lighting once upon a time. The rug was dirty and so was the laminate flooring, water didnt drain away in the shower but water pressue was good. Staff were almost no existant. 24hr bar had very limited choice of drinks. I wouldnt stay again, small, dark very warm room, not worth the money

Have now had 2 stays here for work. It is quiet in the rooms, the staff are pleasant, it's easy to check in and out. Breakfast is a good ranged buffet style.

The room was too dark, no space to put your personal belongings, luggage had to be on the floor. The room was not functional at all.

Really pleased with size of room and comfort of bed. Everything was clean, the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The sliding door on the bathroom was rather stiff/heavy and the lights didn't automatically switch off on exit, so it could have been a bit eco-friendlier there. But for the price it was amazing and I've been raving about it since. Would definitely stay again.
