This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in or even seen on the TV. A triple room the size of a single with a double and a single bed crammed into a space so small that 2 people could not dress at the same time, without collision. No storage spaces, so everything had to be dumped on the dirty floor. No bedside light , just one ceiling ***** light working from the dangerous wobbly switch by the door, the other lights in the ceiling were missing tubes. The mattresses were straight outta the 80s and the sinking feeling that you got when laying down translated into falling out of bed if the person on the other side moved at all . One flat pillow each is all you get but that will be the least of your worries whilst clinging on for dear life to the stained mattress that wants to eject its occupant onto the floor. The noise from the rooms all around you , top, bottom, and sides was so loud, paper thin walls transmitting every movement from the heavy footed elephants in the room above. However, the room is so hot that the window has to be open all night with sounds of heavy rain and pigeons keeping you awake. The curtains that neither fit the window or even open to reveal the detritus below, leave a level of privacy from the windows opposite, which is woefully inadequate. The bathroom with so little space to dry yourself , if you had dared to brave the mould in there means that the only place to put anything is on the toilet. DO NOT look in the sink or shower drains , the owners never have, and it will haunt your nightmares. The bathroom vent fan does not work so the walls are covered in wet mould. There ISNT a level of cleanliness, everywhere is dirty, and down the sides of the beds is where the cleaner never dares to visit, and a previous guests used sock still resides. Pat test was last carried out 4 years ago so well overdue like the cleaning and decorating. The published photos do not represent reality in any way. This is a grim hostel rather than a budget hotel, and the only good thing about it was leaving....alive
