We have had the pleasure of visiting this hotel for many weeks every year since 2003. Having been through many hotel refurbishments in the bar, restaurants, common areas, The Level and rooms, (and whilst the location is excellent for us and The Platinum Melia Rewards is a great incentive), the staff draw us back. Spending (far too much) time consuming copious amounts of food and drink in The Level, we particularly want to commend Carmen, who, with her Spanish charm has been a feature for several years, and welcome back Hossain, our friend, who briefly disappeared to Room Service. Hossain runs The Level with professionalism and humour. Always greeting us (and all guests) with a cheeky smile, he is the eiptome of hospitality. He goes out of his way to keep everyone happy and his enthusiasm is infectious. These characteristics permeate to his staff who are so very attentive when he is around. We hope you recongnise Hosssain for these qualities and greatly look forward to seeing him on our return in the summer.
