Premier Inn London Hampstead

Check in machines would not work all all the staff advised was to complain. WIFI codes would not work and again all the staff advised was to complain. Could not find me on the list for breakfast. Poor service from staff

Spotless room, comfy bed and pillows, good shower, great breakfast, close to tube. This place punches way above its weight !!

I chose Premier Plus for the what it gives for the money and I chose the location to be close the venue I was going to in the evening. I know London and Belsize Park is a fabulous part of it - got a great atmosphere, things going, not too far from the centre and plenty to do nearby. I was looking for a very comfy bed for the night after a night of clubbing. I wanted to be somewhere safe, super comfortable and with everything at my fingertips and that expectation was fully met. Checkin and out were really simple. My only feedback was that I accidentally left something in the room (staying over the weekend) and I couldn't reach the hotel until Monday morning (absolutely NO customer service via telephone over the weekend - either centrally or via the hotel itself). I would expect something better from a national brand and a 24/7 business. Without that hiccup it would have been perfect.

I have been many times and would like to correct or comment on some of the other reviews. The hotel has been completely refurbished. This took many months and must have cost millions. Finally they have put in a state of the art air conditioning system which means that the windows do not need to be opened the beds are very comfortable what would new mattresses and so on and the furniture is standard. The lighting is very good. Basically they *****ped out the rooms and started again. Nice big TV. I like the rain shower. The food in the restaurant is standard. Where people may have a culture shock is the absence of a reception which I think is a retrograde step. It is always nice to be greeted by someone and not have to have to stare at a machine. When I was struggling, a member of staff was at hand. Tip: functions of the reception happen at the bar in domain restaurant area. You will inevitably find someone there to help you so it's not that big a deal once you get used to it. This is very convenient for the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. The hotel is great for communication. Take the number one bus right to the city centre and the Tube is only 200 meters away. This is an affluent area and there are all the shops you could wish for including late nights eateries. Dont forget to wander on Hampstead Heath nearby. Safe and fill of characters.

Stayed here with the family. Room was a little small for the 4 of us but it was clean and comfy. The only fault I could find was that you wouldn't open the window and the room felt stuffy despite the A/C

Even though this is only a 2 or 3 star hotel. The experience was 5 star. Thanks to the wonderful, staff, the great refurb and location. What more could I want.

Now forced to check in at kiosk which didn’t work for a group booking. Then more confusing because there’s no reception desk you have to go to the bar - not a desk by the big neon Check In sign. Guests arriving individually was also problematic for the kiosk. We want real people. It’s important for service, interaction and people’s livelihoods. Very poor show Premier Inn. Meanwhile room stuffy because windows are screwed shut so couldn’t sleep. Genius.

I felt welcomed and relaxed here. After a busy day out meeting friends and shopping I felt at home here when I returned in the evenings, the room was comfortable, the bed as great and it was so quiet which was lovely.
