It was a simple hotel, but it was a place where I wanted to understand everything about the breakfast that felt like I was receiving a warm meal from a British family.
As it was old, the facilities were very old and small, but the people were friendly and warm, making you feel like family.

The Morgan is top ranked for what it is—a basic hotel for the economy minded traveler who appreciates a high standard of sanitation, a comfortable bed, and a good breakfast. The staff is very kind and helpful, too. I have stayed there twice and plan to return, as the location is excellent—around the corner from the British Museum, with bookstores and pubs galore, and easy walking distance to other attractions.

Booked for 1 night for London trip with show and Sky Garden. Convenient position. Very close to British Museum. Good breakfast. No lift. Our room was very tired, in need renovation.

Great location 5 mins from tube, easy checkin, luggage storage, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast and great staff.
On the downside main stairwell needs wall repairs finishing and redecorating, and carpet is slightly threadbare in places.
Generally room furniture tired, some damp patches, bathroom shower needs updating.

Ældre, lidt slidt hotel ved siden af British Museum. Ingen elevator og smalle trapper. Reception i kælder ved siden af morgenmadsrummet. Indtjekning tog noget tid da rummet ikke var færdigt til check-in tid kl 14, men først kl 15. Hotellet har to adresser: et med generelle værelser både enkelt og dobbelt, og et med lejligheder samt 3 værelser i kælderen, 4 døre ned af gaden. Fik enkelt værelse i kælderen på adresse 2. Ok og fint rengjort men slidt. El kedel og køleskab, og med terasse dør ud til lille lukket område som må være herligt om sommeren (deles med nabo værelset). Hotellet har en politik om at ikke skifte håndklæder (klima hensyn) hvis man hænger dem op, men det er åbenbart lidt tilfældig om det respekteres eller ej. Glimrende seng, og stort LED tv med masser af kanaler. Morgenmad glimrende - det er full english og bliver lavet på bestilling. Personalet meget smilende og venlige. Jeg kommer helt sikkert tilbage.
