A nice hotel!

This is a lovely, clean, comfortable and smart boutique hotel. The service is excellent and we received a very warm welcome. Our room was beautiful. We also had an evening meal and this was really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel, you cannot fault it.

Stayed with my friend on 30th April for 1nt as we were in town for Take That! Check in was plain sailing and excellent customer service You get a welcome drink of your choice (not bottles of wine, champagne ) on check in or if you didn’t want it then, you get given a drinks voucher - what a lovely touch Our room was great and loved the decor Underfloor heating in the bathroom was nice when you get out the shower Room was very quiet and didn’t hear a peep from other guests Sadly we didn’t eat in the restaurant but did visit the bar and once again was excellent customer service The hotel has a turndown service (which I didn’t realise) so when we got back to the room, our complimentary slippers were by the bed, cushions stored away, a little tube of night cream and a bottle of water with a glass were left on the bedside table! All our clothes we left strewn on the bed as we rushed to make it out on time had all been cleared away - I felt so bad for housekeeping so I’m sorry for the mess The hotel are happy to take your bags before check in if your room isn’t ready and after checkout so you are free to explore London. Absolutely loved my stay here and would love to come and stay again. The only thing I’d mention which I forgot when checking in - is that a plant outside is covering the hotel sign so my friend and I were walking up and down, up and down trying to find the hotel! This hotel is absolutely wonderful. I arrived before check-in because of an early morning flight and came to just leave luggage. I was immediately offered a seat in the lounge, my room was ready (which they very kindly upgraded for me) and I was taken up immediately. Everyone was so kind. The room was luxurious and extremely clean. The bed was very, very comfortable. I loved the spacious bathroom, with the best shower. Location, near Buckingham Palace, St James Park cannot be beaten. Money very well spent and can highly, highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the very moment we walked through the front door until the day we departed the service was outstanding! The staff is very friendly and courteous. They serve a proper English breakfast and the rooms are very clean. Fantastic location in downtown London!

We got a downgrade... a very dark room 409 without the stated facilities on the backside of the hotel (definitely not a deluxe room as described through their hotel website). Had to follow-up on our complaint, the reception staff didn't do their job and no refund. The reception didn't communicate our complaint to the General Manager as promised. Therefore can't trust or recommend the hotel. One star for the outstanding service provided by the housekeeping team. Description of the Deluxe Double category on the website (when making the booking directly) states these features, but none of them was the case: "Flooded with natural light...". "Chair provided with desk". "Seating area and working desk". "City view".
