Premier Inn London Tower Bridge

During our two-day stay at the London Bridge hotel, we were required to clean the room and leave a room cleansing card on the door. However, It was a disappointment to us that the room was not cleaned by anyone.

Great welcome from excellent, and very professional, staff member Renalyn. The room itself was fine, we'd asked for a quiet part of the hotel. BUT we were opposite some rooms of school girls who milled about the corridoor right outside our room until late (and then again at 6.45am), chattering loudly! At 10.15pm I went out & asked them to move away. This really spoiled our stay and I didn't sleep well either night.

£258 plus £12 for breakfast seems a lot for a single night for a solo traveller in a budget hotel, but it was the night before the London marathon so a great chance to fleece their customers. I stayed two nights and the second was ‘only’ £163 plus breakfast. There was ‘free’ wifi of course, but it didn’t work, of course! For only £5 per night I could purchase wifi that might work instead. Of course I didn’t! That’s the kind of trick I expect in cheap budget hotels, not budget hotels for the super-rich. The rest of my comments are the usual, mundane issues you find in such places; veneer peeling off the furniture, generic, all purpose toiletry liquid screwed to the walls, a fixed shower head that required a handstand if you wanted to wash anything other than the top of your head, two tea bags and three jiggers of hut milk on the welcome tray - no biscuits! A weird secondary glazed bedroom window arrangement which could be swung four feet into the bedroom if you wanted some air. Breakfast was relatively poor quality, as was the evening meal. I’m sure some people will still go there - but don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hotel was clean and easily accessible. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and well presented

Very comfortable one night stay at the Tower Bridge Hotel. I’ve stayed there before, knew it was great. Had an Evening out at a Charity Art Auction at Christie’s. Wanted somewhere convenient to stay and you can walk to the Hotel over Tower Bridge, that’s a really good thing to do when you are in London and just off the train at Fenchurch Street Station. Great room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and friendly staff.
