A beautiful boutique hotel, very well situated, with nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, clean and quiet. This said, for the price we paid (of course taking into account that we are in the expensive central London), two important points would need to be worked on to improve my 3 quote: - the sofa-bed, used in case you are more than 2 in the room, doesn't match the hotel standard. Even for children, the comfort of that bed is hardly acceptable. Not ok at all. - the breakfast is very disappointing: very-very poor buffet, a limited number of a la carte options, a few things that you would look for in such a "typically British" place totally absent (like scones and orange marmalade), I also missed a normal pot of coffee (the only coffee they have is espresso, but even a long espresso doesn't taste as an English breakfast coffee), and the level of service is very uneven depending on who is on duty.

I booked afternoon tea at The Zetter Marylebone on 6th March as a treat for friends. I'm vegetarian and one of our friends has some very specific dietary needs. I was therefore very happy when a couple of days before our booking, The Zetter sent out a form where I could list and explain dietary requirements. I filled it in fully, giving clear explanation of the list of things that my friend does not eat. When we arrived, we found that no amendment to the menu had been made and my friend was told that he could just 'double up' on the things on the existing list that he could eat. The offering included either sandwiches or a hot selection for ominvores, just sandwiches for vegetarians and for him, the only thing he could eat was ox cheek croquettes. We asked whether it was possible for the kitchen to make plain cheese or chicken sandwiches. Our waitress tried to help, returning to speak to someone out of sight several times. She eventually had to say that there was nothing they could do as the food for the tea was made elsewhere in advance and brought in. The planned 'treat' had turned into a difficult and stressful event and we were all just seriously wanting to leave. We stuck it out for what was a fairly uninspiring tea. The bread on the vegetarian sandwiches was dry - they'd clearly been around for a while - but the two friends who could eat them said the truffled chicken sandwiches were good. The scones were good and the cakes were okay but rather lacking the 'wow' you want when afternoon tea arrives. At the end of an awkward time, I wanted to get out of there so I paid the bill so as not to cause any more fuss in front of my friends. When they both went downstairs to the loo, I asked for a quiet word with the manager to tell him what a disappointing experience it had been. He said he had my details and would find a way to make it right. We left. It was only the following day that I realised that they'd charged us for champagne that we didn't have. I emailed the manager to tell him this. No reply. I got a feedback form emailed from the parent company and filled it in explaining our disastrous afternoon. They replied to say they'd find a way to make it right. Nothing further happened. I wrote again direct to the manager to remind him they they owed me £40 for champagne plus whatever he intended to do to 'make it right'. I have had no reply.

Not impressed with the breakfast service. We have waited to sit down for a while till the waitress saw us and told us to wait till she cleans the table. Breakfast was busy. We heard her asking in reception for help, but no one came to help her. No one explained to us how breakfast works (it was our first time in this hotel), we had to ask at the bar. We placed our order after about 15 minutes, and waited. Our eggs royale came cold and before our coffees. Overall, not impressed with the service, we won’t be staying again, the hotel isn’t worth the money you pay.

I’m a fan of this group of cozy and unique London hotels. Quirky and eclectic but in a luxury way. Extremely clean. Nothing felt shabby or overused. Luxury linens and robes were spectacular. I slept like a baby in a chilly room during a hot June in London. Breakfast was delicious. The barista made great lattes. The lobby had a few people having tea and I’m definitely doing that next stay. Solo traveler who felt very safe in this property and the area. I’ll be back Zetter hotels. You are a fave.

I stayed in one of the junior suites on the night before my wedding, then returned to stay in the Lear's loft for the night of our wedding. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were a feast for the eyes with different styles blended for an engaging finish. The cocktails are worth the visit in their own right. The quality of the beds and an undisturbed sleep are important to me - Zetter delivered both perfectly. We did not hear the road and slept deeply through both nights. Will definitely book again for future events or simply just for a fun break.

Love the funky vibe of the whole place & definitely like visiting a quirky uncle’s house. Great and friendly service! Rooms are really comfy. Lovely and lively lounge area for breakfast, snacks, and drinks. Would definitely stay at the Zetter again!

Stayed at the Zetter Marylebone over a Friday saturday. Rooms are lovely, the breakfast was amazing and staff are very attentive and polite. Would highly recommend . Location is great for Marble arch and Hyde park so was easy getting round London. Didn’t get to try a famous cocktail unfortunately but maybe next time…..
