The facilities in the room are not the best quality products. Normal maintenance needs improvement.

The Lalit hotel was perfectly located for my visit to the Bridge Theatre-just a 3 minute level walk away. There is a walkway leading on to Tower Bridge with many restaurants and bars right next to the hotel. It is a beautiful period building , a former grammar school, which has been thoughtfully renovated keeping both its old school features and incorporating some stunning Indian architectural details. The dining room is particularly stunning, as is the Indian hot breakfast option that I enjoyed there. I stayed in a cosy classroom double room.It is one of the smallest rooms but perfectly sufficient for my needs as a solo traveller. There were nice additional touches in the room such as a bathrobe, complimentary soft drinks and crisps and biscuits plus a nespresso coffee machine. There was also a Japanese style bidet toilet and lots of complimentary toiletries. All of these items contributed to a really luxury stay and a feeling of being pampered as a guest of the Lalit. The staff were polite, helpful and efficient. My bed and bedding were very comfortable and of a high quality with luxurious pillows offering a choice of firmness-a nice touch. Considering the hotels location, right near Tower Bridge in a busy area, the hotel was quiet and peaceful with no noise from outside and I slept really well. I would definitely recommend the Lalit hotel. It was luxurious while being good value and perfectly located. I look forward to returning!

A lovely hotel with excellent staff in a fantastic location. The concierge was brilliant, very attentive. He kept an eye out for the guests at all time, almost like he had catered to your needs before you even knew what you wanted! The breakfast was really nice. I was tempted by the Indian breakfast but had to try to full English after reading reviews mentioning how nice it was, it did not disappoint. I would definitely have the Indian breakfast if I had the opportunity to stay again. The room was well maintained, every little detail was thought of. The location is great, just round the corner from tower bridge and an easy walk to London Bridge station. We would definitely stay again.

A fantastic hotel offering a luxury stay. I was happily surprised by the opulence and space in the room (junior classroom). The hotel is close to all amenities.

It was literally good (service & room).

This is the third hotel I stayed in London, and it is also the best one. The nameplate of Small luxury hotel at the door shows that it is very good. The hotel was built by Indians, with a very unique style and big rooms. The Indian brother at the front desk was very friendly and took me around the hotel. He said that everything in the refrigerator is free and you can eat whatever you want. The location is great. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the Tower Bridge. It is worth staying near the landmark for one night. There is also a famous London restaurant The Ivy under the bridge, so you can eat there even if you don't have to walk in.

The room is not clean or the slippers are not clean. There are small red spots on my body after sleeping. The location is OK. It is a 10-minute walk from the Shard.

A very favorite hotel. Peace in the heart of London. Very impressed with the hotel reception staff. At first glance, it seems that he is very well-educated and has a deep love for his profession and has served for a long time. The experience is really great!

The address is very good, walking distance from the Tower of London and London Bridge, but the facilities in the room are very average, and the service is very lacking in standards. Hotel is Indian managed so mainly Indian travelers.
