The service is perfect and it is comfortable and clean. Specially the receptionist man of 27 May, 2023 is so kind. He checked my request and he tried to do. Bathroom and amenities are good. Anyway I recommend the hotel.

Pokey hotel. Lift doesn’t work. Booked a shower\tub combination but got a shower without a tub. Carpets in the room were filthy. Bathroom stunk like an open sewer.

Unique atmosphere and cosy rooms. This hotel offers experience you cannot get from a big hotel chain. Lovely place, great location.

Not perfect but deserving of 5 Stars for the staff, the Georgian charm, and the location. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The lift wasn’t working (apparently hasn’t been working for a while) but our bags were carried up for us. We needed a cab a couple of times and asked the desk manager to arrange it and it was there right on time. Nice coffee shop around the corner. Marble Arch bus stop 4 minute walk away. When we return to London it will be the Sumner again!

The rate at this small B&B was very competitive so I guess I can’t complain too much. Staff are very keen to help but should be advised that having a shouting match with someone on the phone that echos throughout the hotel is not very professional. The rooms are dated but adequate. I was offered an upgrade to a larger room on the third floor as the lift was not working. I have now discovered that guests were complaining about this almost a year ago! The lounge was very pleasant.

Sadly the lift was broke and I was at the top of the building, but the staff were a great help. There was an issue with the heating in the room, but the staff tried their best to heat up the room, it wasn’t as warm as I’d of liked and was very noisy.

The elevator didn't work. No offer to carry luggage up five floors. The TV didn't work, and what there was was lousy water pressure. I asked the service to look into it, but got no feedback that they had tried, and there was no change in the TV or water pressure.
