It is best for budget traveler's..not bad, location was good..

The rooms are definitely not like they are advertised in the photos. Really disappointed with our stay as it was our first trip together and was spoilt by a hotel that was not worth the money.

Location is centrally located only 30 minutes away by bus from the center of London. Service was very good with the staff being very helfpul. Overall conditions in the room left a little to be desired though especially the bathroom which needed a bit of renovation. Having said that, bed and pillows were comfortable so not too much to complain. Cleanliness was ok as well.

Fixtures hanging off walls, stains on the bedroom and bathroom walls, a horrible smell of stale cigarette smoke, filthy floors. This was more like your single, disorganised friend's unkempt apartment than a hotel room. To boot, the staff were incredibly dismissive and at points even inappropriate to my partner when I wasn't around. Cannot overstate enough - stay away from this place.

Considering how cheap this hotel is, I do find it hard to be as harsh as other reviews. Maybe I had a better room? I booked very last minute after missing a last train, and was checked in without issue. The reception is actually quite nice? Genuinely thought the room wasn’t bad at all. Double bed made up of two singles, an effective heater and an en-suite. Towels and toiletries were included. The room was quiet, safe and comfortable. It was also clean. I had no issue with dodgy sockets or bugs. The one thing in the room which wouldn’t be expected was the sink, which was not connected to a waste pipe. This meant any running water went straight on to the floor - this may well be why others have leaky ceiling! If that piping was fixed, I’d think the room was perfectly fine! One last oddity outside of the room, was upon check out, reception was dark and the staff member was snoring away on the sofa with a duvet. I have a sense of humour, I thought it was hilarious. But probably not safe for him, or guests knowing anyone can walk in or out. I left my key on the side. If it was cheap enough I probably would stay again, but I’d want the room I had as it sounds like others are worse. It did me fine when stuck in london x
